A vote for Mitt Romney is a vote for GOP destruction and the rise of a third party. Who can unite conservatives?

Lady on the Lake, darling. Not Lady of the Lake. Lady on the Lake turned out to be a lot more vulnerable. ;-)

I see no evidence that Romney has the balls to take a stand and make a tough decision and see it through. What am I missing?

Here's a
link to a piece in PowerLine, which documents Romney's conservative record as one-term governor.
The highlights to me are that Romney went to the wall for a 5% income tax rate already approved by the voters over a 5.3% rate approved by the legislature overturning the citizens referendum. Wow! .3%, what a fabulous record.
And he prevented a capital gains tax from being applied retroactively.
And he vetoed bills 800 times, mostly getting overridden. Sounds like he was incapable of getting the people of Massachusetts behind him.
I don't see Romney even proposing anything, anything that will turn things around. So, even if he gets everything he wants, it won't be nearly enough.
I say "no more Wendell Wilkies, Tom Dewey's, Bush's or McCain's.
