Its to bad if Romney is our nom because I will not vote for him.
kind of defeats the purpose of a representative form of government if you don’t have a real choice.
Sort of like having a choice whether to die instantly or die slowly?

Go Paul..?
pitiful.

If Newt can’t run his own campaign successfully, I fail to see why we should give him the country.

It was pretty funny and viable shit when they disenfranchised over 50% of Perrys ballots.

Is Newt’s campaign inept? They cannot let things like this happen. If this is an indication of how he runs his campaign, we have a huge problem.

Well, I guess the same could be said about Santorum, Perry, Bachman and Huntsman, as they would also appear "inept" considering they didn't get on the ballot either???

There also was a lot of talk that Obama used devious methods in caucuses during the 2008 Primary against Hillary.

Good night my dear FRiends.

This has been a typical dem assault tonight.
VA means nothing on the eve of Iowa and even less on Christmas eve.

All of this is pure political BS pure and simple.

Have a Merry Christmas and defend what you believe.

I have read conflicting news accounts. The 11,050 signatures that Newt turned in must have had sufficient invalid signatures to drop his number below the necessary 10,000. I was putting my hopes on the Reuters news account.

Saw on FNC that they did not even bother submitting their signatures. I ran for office in Massachusetts and the first thing I was told by folks more experienced than I was, get at least 50% more signatures than required, because many will be challenged (in this state your opponent has the opportunity to challenge signatures, even after verification by local town clerks).

Are you saying that you would actually cast a vote for either of those clowns?

I will be staying home that day unless I learn that there is something else of a crucial nature on the ballot.

It would thrill me to no end to see not a single “R” ballot cast but that is not likely, you have already stated that you are going to vote. The next best thing would be to see a Ron Paul landslide, Mittens would look pretty bad.

I understand that Gingrich’s campaign has been collecting signatures since November. These signatures must be accompanied by addresses so they can be verified. They also must be registered voters, so the signature of a citizen will not do. (And if it’s registered Republican, then it’s even more strict.)

The final requirement, if I’m correct, should invalidate this process due to disenfranchisement of citizens who are still more than eligible to register and vote in the primary in question which is months away, and definitely in the election in question which is slightly less than a year away.
