When I saw Herman Cains interview with Wolf Blitzer yesterday afternoon, this immediately jumped out at me:

As a US citizen you can go to any state and be entitled to all privileges and immunities of any other citizen in that state.
It doesn’t mean you can do gay marriage in Massachusetts and be married in Indiana ~ far from it.
here it is again.
The Citizens of each State shall be entitled to all Privileges and Immunities of Citizens in the several States.
The part about where powers not granted to the Federal govt.
What was the Bill of Rights written for, the Federal Government (Congress), the states, or both? Your knowledge or naivete in on the line in answering this question, so be careful.
The states are made up of people, the people of the several states make up the powers of federal government.
The people and the states are the same thing, ( see the 10th amendment ) the amendments were written and agreed upon by the representatives of the several states.
The 10th amendment.
The states make their own laws where they are not prohibited from doing so by the bill of rights ( for instance the 2nd amendment )
The second amendment says the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed period, it does not mean that the feds can not infringe on your rights but the state can nor the other way around, government, state or federal can not do that.
The federal Government can only have the powers that was given to them by the states, also there are a few things the states do not have the power to do, they can not make laws that take our rights away named in the bill of rights,
The laws in the bill of rights were not made by the federal government, they were agreed to by the representatives of the people of the states.
Our founders knew that a federal government could go out of control, and they also knew that a state government could do the same thing, they knew what a little Hitler could do state or federal, Government draws little Hitlers like sugar draws flies.
Having given the example of a defensive weapon ~ a 16 ft high chain link fence, why are they restricted in urban areas.
The second amendment is all about the right of self-defense. Certainly defensive fortifications should not be objected to, right?
So there is NO decent conservative candidate besides Michele and Cain.
Hence, the need for a protective Fence, is just as Constitutional s the need for door locks.
But, we digress, a 16 ft high chainlink fence around your property in a residentially zoned area of a city is usually prohibited. So why is that?
The constitution does.
The constitution does.
I don’t think burglars and thieves care one way or the other about ideology ~ they just want your stuff.

But you ask why is that? well i don,t know. but i guess i am more concerned about the thieves in our Government than i am the thieves who are not making the laws.
