Cain, Newt and then Mittens. Newt is by far the brightest person in the room, no question. Bachman was good, Perry, Paul and Huntsman ane done and Santorum may have just killed him self off!

I missed the debate. What did Santorum do?

Santorum and Bachman had the good idea of attacking Cain’s 999 plan and may stay in the race for a little longer, but unfortunately Mittens had the most airtime as usual and also has Crispy Creme’s endorsement. Not to mention the most money. I will not be happy to vote for Mittens, but i will if I have to oust King Obamao.

Vote your heart in the primary, and your mind in the General.

Everyone seems to agree that Bachmann did well, and has always done well, but she is written off. The Establishment fears a committed, principled Christian conservative, which means her or Cain, period. No one else. The phony Perry campaign drained support which would otherwise have gone to Bachmann. Thanks a lot, Perrybots, for trying to foist another fumblemouthed “compassionate liberal” on us. You did the Left’s work for them. Now go and collect your 30 pieces of silver.

Actually Santorum said what really needed to be said about families and poverty. It was him that exposed the elephant in the room about single parent households. I think his manufacturing plan has potential and he is likely right about Cain’s 9-9-9 plan not passing. I’m not supporting Santorum, but he didn’t commit political suicide tonight. Someone needed to strongly challenge Cain’s plan some and he did.

Romney is a slime ball. I think those must have been “metric” minutes he was given, because they had more than 60 seconds in them.

That Washington Compost reporter really had a thing about Perry. I became sympathetic to him after her questions. It was clear that panel wants Mittens to be the GOP nominee. They kept Romney in full view and marginalized almost everyone else.

Newt did well. Huntsman was the pits.

Newt did quite well, but I don’t get the feeling he is running for office. When he answers a question it’s more in the vein of him ‘schooling’ us on who and what we are and where we need to be. He’s extremely intelligent and able to recall facts and history with ease. I almost get the feeling he is doing this to keep the GOP field from blowing itself apart.
