I’m glad all the dirt is coming out in the open.

Michelle Malkin found this:

"When both the House and Senate repealed the (vaccination) law six weeks later, Perry did not — as he now claims — listen humbly or “agree with their decision.”

Human shield demagoguery. In response to the legislature’s rebuke, the infuriated governor attacked those who supported repeal as “shameful” spreaders of “misinformation” who were putting “women’s lives” at risk. Borrowing a tried-and-true Alinskyite page from the progressive left, Perry surrounded himself with female cervical cancer victims and deflected criticism of his imperial tactics with emotional anecdotes.

He then lionized himself and the minority of politicians who voted against repeal of his Gardasil order. “They will never have to think twice about whether they did the right thing. No lost lives will occupy the confines of their conscience, sacrificed on the altar of political expediency.” Perry, of course, has now put his own ghastly Gardasil order on that same altar — but with no apology to all those he demonized and exploited along the way."

Michelle Malkin talks about opting out and the hurdles faced.

Freedom would be opting in.

Has everyone suddenly lost 80 IQ points? Manditory vaccinations have been in place for decades all across this country. All of a sudden people are up in arms because Rick Perry signed an executive order, which included an opt-out? Seriously, there are more important issues which need to be discussed. This is nothing more than a red herring.

I guess he had better quit his job in order to save himself from having to defend all of these unfounded charges.

My take on all this, is that Merck knew Glaxo Smith-Klein was going to have a product out in the near future, and wanted to get everyone vaccinated before a competitor could reap some of the profits.

3 weeks later, Merck abandoned it’s program of pushing Gardisil onto school immunization lists, and switched to a plan of voluntary vaccination covered by insurance, along with a federal program to pay for vaccines for poor people.

They got their program into 18 states, including Alaska, which advertized the availability of taxpayer-funded Gardasil vaccinations for girls between 8 and 18. This was while Sarah Palin was governor.

The program did NOT require vaccinations. It was a voluntary program, but it still enriched Merck as they got taxpayers to foot the bill.

Trash. More evidence how so many of us allow ourselves to be led by the nose by the MSM and politicians’ propaganda advisers. Why, I ask those who are so concerned by this issue, why wasn’t this an issue two, three days ago, last week? Why, you “independent” thinkers? Sheep!
