As I have said before, it constantly amazes me to watch what the media describes as experienced senior campaign advisers fail to follow through and do their research. Know thy enemy is the first rule of politics 101 and yet supposed unbeatable campaign influence peddlers have failed to learn this lesson when it comes to Rick Perry. I t is downright amusing to watch the show.
<snip>
Perrys people will either leak something Perry has said that is damaging in the past or will leak something written to the media. It is either this or it is said in a debate or press conference. His campaign will give the opponent the time (perhaps a day, perhaps a week) to pontificate, make numerous statements to the media, put out an op-ed or a flier and then BOOM! out of no where comes the carefully researched counter punch from the Perry team. They will usually do it in the most public and splashy way-guaranteed to knock the opponent on his/her knees. He/or she will either have to back up their past actions or restate or renege on the ones just uttered. The opponent will have to have a hinged spine in order to whipsaw back and forth trying to re-cover. The opponent forgot to check for long term consequences before he JUMPED for the bait so temptingly hanging out there. I have witnessed this happen to both Karl Rove and to David Axelrods candidates.

I did notice that and it sickens me. Further, if this were a newspaper, and some of these smears got published, it would be sued for slander.
I’ve asked for sources on some of the accusations but no reply whatsoever. Went to another thread, same allegations/smears...no source cited.
Its disgusting.
I almost forgot about Bachmann and Perry’s big smooch. Romney even made mmmmmmuh sound effect. It was completely and totally barfworthy.
Ok he endorsed Gore but says he voted for Bush in ‘88...LOL.
That would be the Texas taxpayers because the federal government won’t do its job and SECURE OUR BORDER.
I agree. So go find her. And tell me when you do. I want to vote for her, too. Just one thing: don’t come a knockin’ till she’s actually IN THE RACE.
But please be on the look out for the Perry operatives and JUST IGNORE ALL THE NON STOP WE HATE ARTICLES BEING POSTED HERE.
Actually, Bachmann is mostly correct. As you may remember from a few night's back, the tuition at Texas A&M is about $9k for instate residents and about $23k for non-residents so Texas taxpayers are subsidizing every illegal at A&M about $14k annually (or about 60%) and a similar amount at all other state schools.
Agreed..he doesn’t seem very quick on his feet.
Sorry to burst your paranoid bubble, nc, but back in January FR took a poll and it turned out as a community we back Palin over all other comers by about 4 to 1. Hence Jim Robinson calling us Palin Country. Its just true. So what you’re seeing is just natural to the site. And because Perry is, so far, the strongest threat to Palin, it is only natural that Palin backers would respond by helping the Perry community vet their candidate, since they appear unwilling to do it themselves.
This near-sightedness regarding ones own preferred candidate is not unusual, nor is it conspiratorial. It’s a natural part of the adversarial process we call elections, and it does your side no good to running around spouting foolish, tin foil hat quality paranoia that everyone who doesn’t just love Perry must be “an operative. Ooooo.” Get over it. We may have to work together later to beat Obama, so you really shouldnt be running around trying to cast dark clouds of suspicion on anyone who doesn’t like Perry, which apparently is most of us, at least relative to Palin. Sowing discord and alienation amongst ourselves is not how we win this game. Sorry.
If you want to call in-state tuition a subsidy, fine. Then Texas taxpayers subsidize EVERY RESIDENT that goes to Texas schools. For Bachmann to say taxpayers pay tuition for illegals is misleading and self-serving at best. Bachmann is committing political suicide before our eyes. Perry will survive this because it’s simply not true.
Well, unfortunately NOT, as the polls are already showing tonight. Sorry to burst your little bubble.
I like most of the options outside of Romney , Paul, Huntsman ( Obama trojan horse) , but the non stop Perry hatred posted here is unreal.
Yup... it was some time between that year's primary season and election day that he came to his senses about the reality of the Dem party.

Just because you don't like the messenger, doesn't mean it's wrong. If it is, I am sure Team Perry will speak out.
Here's Michelle Malkin, a staunch conservative on Perry's crony capitalism:

Definitely a remark best left unsaid, however innocent he may be of any wrong-doing.
Palin campaigned for Perry against the Bush family in TX.
Most of these Perry attack are old and reposted again and again . Its called astroturfing.
You think its normal activity to have non stop Perry hater posts and NOT a SINGLE anti- Romney or anti post about any other candidates tonight ??
