"Why Is Abortion Still Such a Big Deal in America?"
Vital Signs Blog ^ | August 26, 2011 | Denny Hartford

Posted on 09/07/2011 9:13:46 AM PDT by BearCreek

The one question that most perplexed the Norwegian TV crew that was interviewing me in my living room was "Why, after so long a time, is abortion still such a desperate controversy here in the United States?" Their experience in Europe gave them few clues. After all, abortion had come to most Western European countries, been rapidly accepted and was now off the political agenda altogether. So they were sincerely trying to figure out why four decades had elapsed since abortion had begun to be legalized in the U.S. and yet abortion was still, as Jan described, "issue number one for America's people."

So, if JimRob banned anything written by Tim Dunkin, you would say...

...that he was robbing visitors to his site of one of the best new conservative commentors in America today!

Well, I do realise that it goes over the heads of folks like yourself and Vendome. You guys aren’t exactly the razor’s edge, after all.

LOL

We’re way past the razor’s edge.

We’ve actually figured it all out.

so you have some context for your obtuse description:

The Razor’s Edge is a book by W. Somerset Maugham published in 1944. Its epigraph reads, “The sharp edge of a razor is difficult to pass over; thus the wise say the path to Salvation is hard.” taken from a verse in the Katha-Upanishad.[1][2]

The Razor’s Edge tells the story of an American pilot traumatized by his experiences in World War I, who sets off in search of some transcendent meaning in his life. The novel is supposed to be based on the life of Guy Hague, an American mining engineer.

Like I said “We’re pretty comfortable in our skin”.

Thought to self:
“Have I used the word Obdurate today?”

Nope but, I still have time.

so you have some context for your obtuse description:

Nothing obtuse about it. "The razor's edge" is also a common figure of speech in English, regardless of its ultimate origins, and is commonly used to refer to something sharp, by connotation, someone intelligent. Which you're not. Hence the use.

LOL! Timmy writes garbage. That’s why he’s stuck in the blogger world, posting to sites that cover his crappy writing with popups and malware bait floatovers.

Hey, it’s not my fault it’s over your head. Guess I could try to gear it down to the double-digit IQ level so you’d understand it.

Well V, you are the guy who tried to argue that remonstrating against the use of entire copyrighted works is equivalent to Righthaven's lawsuits against people who fair used a couple of sentences. That doesn't reaassure me as to your reasoning abilities.
