I guess they cant help it, but some bestselling rightwing authors have surprising tastes.
Ann Coulter: Louis Vuitton | Coulter (above) likes making fun of those pro-appeasement Frenchmen, but shes also been caught on camera strolling around the Hamptons with her Louis Vuitton bag, and cant resist French restaurants, where she orders Freedom Fries just to stir the pot, our guess.
Jonah Goldberg: Whole Foods | But thankfully he doesnt have a man bag, or drive a pious Prius, to the best of our knowledge. Whole Foods where I shop frequently, by the way admits Goldberg in Liberal Fascism is fascinating.
Michelle Makin: Banana Republic | Ive got $50 Banana Republic flats, which I thought were a splurge until I saw the other Michelles footwear, the budget conscious Michelle Malkin has blogged. She usually wears her ratty old New Balance sneakers.

Mmmmmmmm....looks yummy.
“Yes, Red Lobster and Olive Garden are both owned by the Darden Restaurant group. Also Longhorn Steakhouse.”
Their food is produced in a central commissary, and only warmed up at the actual restaurant. If it tastes like plastic maybe it’s because it all comes frozen in plastic bags.
My wife LOVES New England thrift shops...snotty female democrats from Massachusetts dump their brand-new clothes at the thrift store for the 'down-trodden masses', and my wife swoops down on the bargains like a buzzard on a gut wagon.
Not junk, either...Talbot, Ann Taylor, Coldwater Creek, Chico's...
Forgot to mention price...usually one or two bucks...think she had to pay $3 for a suit a few weeks back...original price tags still on them.
You won't even miss the 25 or 50 cents, but at the end of the month you will have at least $5 to donate so FR can operate smoothly, or you will moan and grown and go into withdrawal when it is down, because of broken parts, or over loaded servers during crisis events Chose the E thank you card to save $$ and stamps.

You have an intelligent wife! Why buy brand new with a tag if you can get the same “pricey” clothes for a fraction! I know that some people refuse to go into a thrift shop or a consignment shop and I truly wonder why? You stick them in the washing machine as soon as you get home. I bet your wife’s clothes closet is quite the envy of many women!
I shop at Whole Foods occasionally but much prefer Trader Joes — no lib preaching at you in every aisle at TJ’s like there is at WF!
She has a nose for that stuff...she caught a clerk at Penney's (yuk!) putting a bunch of suits in her size tagged at $89 - $129 on a $4.97(!!!) clearance rack a few years back...twelve NICE suits for work for sixty bucks.
Even a man has to appreciate that kind of 'smart shopping'...
She is gooooddd! Twelve suits for sixty bucks! Amazing. It is a rush of sorts. I remember getting new, name brand baby and toddler outfits for pennies on the dollar. Why spend thirty five dollars for a Carters, Oshkosh, etc.. outfit that they wear for a few months when you can get it for a few dollars? After my children outgrew it, I packed them up and gave the outfits to friends of mine with younger kids. It is the smart way to purchase items in my opinion!
Years ago, before there was a Walmart, in my area at least, and we still had a few department stores, that unfortunately no longer exist, I was worrying over spending $2-$3 dollars on a new pair of no-name brand sneakers and Katie Couric was on her morning show, gushing something like “Ooooh, $700.00 that’s not not a bad price for a pair of yellow snake skin boots. That’s certainly a reasonable price for those. They are really nice.” $700.00? A reasonable price? Choke, Choke, Gag, Gag...Light dawns on my marblehead, as I had realized for a long time that TV was dominated by the wealthy, but just hearing that comment come out of her mouth as if $700.00 which would have clothed my family for the year, was an easier decision to make for her, then me buying $2-$3 dollar sneakers, was irksome. And I’ve had nothing but contempt for her and those of the same ilk as her.
Sweet Hubby and I shop at both Wal-mart and Whole Foods for our groceries. Whole Foods is for produce, bread and peanut butter dog biscuits and Wal-mart is for all the rest.
Lib preaching at WF? Really? I’ve never heard/seen it. I shop there all the time. And I’ve shopped at WF in 3 states, including Washington.
Maybe it’s just the Whole foods in Thousand Oaks, CA where every aisle had its own liberal lecture. Come to think of it, I was expecting that when going into the one near Santa Monica not long ago but it wasn’t bad — in the very heart of leftiness!
