It could be people from both sides trying to get in touch with their congresscritters and telling them to stand firm.
House website http://www.house.gov is working for me.
They are down. Likely reason people overwhelming them.

You are correct. The house.gov site is OK, but the individual member sites are not accessible.
just get a twitter account and tweet them. Most of the members have accounts. Still haven’t seen one for Mccconnell.
I couldn’t get through to any of them. Tried on and off for almost 2 hours.

DeMint had the same plan a mere 5 years ago. I guess he ought to know what his own plan is. Now, why doesn’t he lay claim to it?

But I also think he is positioning himself to run for President down the road.
