I have a question. Do people following this case on FR have the idea that Casey’s childhood was normal and loving, and she just happened to grow up to be a psychopath? [I don’t even know if she is a psychopath; I have not followed the case, and going by many of the comments here, those calling her that have no idea what it means.] Normal, loving childhood environments have never yet produced a psychopath. Is the theory that Casey is the first?
Wrong thread? Or maybe not since we’re talking serious mental illness with both these creatures. Sadly, there are many bad seeds out there. Bad seeds can’t be rendered good no matter how normal and loving their childhood environmnents were.

As for ‘bad seeds’. Yes, a particular child may have a bad bent. However, to become a full blown psychopath requires a very, VERY bad childhood. Way more than just a sub-optimal or dysfunctional childhood; abuse of some kind MUST be involved. Otherwise, you’re not talking about an actual psychopath. I’m just saying it can’t be both ways. She’s other not a psychopath, or else there is a VERY dark side to one o both of her parents.
Now suppose Hawaii complies with it and produces a paper copy of the long-form BC that is identical to the one Obama already produced. What will you do?
Here's what I predict: you and the rest of the birther loons will just expand on your claims about how Hawaii is hopelessly corrupt and its documents can't be trusted.
That's because no evidence, no matter how strong, will ever convince you of the obvious fact that Obama was born in Hawaii. You believe otherwise, and nothing will ever shake your faith in the birther religion.
Farther down in Rule 45, (see below) it sets out “Objections” which HI will likely file. That as you can see has to be done within 14 days.
HI set out their objections in a letter to Dr. Taitz (in May, IIRC). They will do so in a more formal way now that they have received what appears to be a properly issued subpoena. It would then be up to Dr. Taitz to file a motion to compel, but that’s a whole other issue.
Note that the courts allow 3 days for service by mail. So if it was mailed 7/5, it’s deemed accepted 7/8, and HI has 14 days from then to file its objections, or to make the document(s) available on the date set out in the subpoena.

(B) Objections. A person commanded to produce documents or tangible things or to permit inspection may serve on the party or attorney designated in the subpoena a written objection to inspecting, copying, testing or sampling any or all of the materials or to inspecting the premises — or to producing electronically stored information in the form or forms requested. The objection must be served before the earlier of the time specified for compliance or 14 days after the subpoena is served. If an objection is made, the following rules apply:
(i) At any time, on notice to the commanded person, the serving party may move the issuing court for an order compelling production or inspection.
(ii) These acts may be required only as directed in the order, and the order must protect a person who is neither a party nor a party’s officer from significant expense resulting from compliance.
(3) Quashing or Modifying a Subpoena.

I think better of McCain than that. I don’t know that anyone on this board has passed a truer test of patriotism than he. If you theory is correct I’d like to believe he was unaware of it.
I never agreed with everything McCain said/did, but I always believed and continue to believe that he is a good man who loves his country.
Yes, as *I* understand the Rule, but I am not a lawyer. That’s sure what it reads like.
That said, I still question Dr. Taitz’s right in advancing discovery at all at this point, since Judge Lamberth back in DC has not issued a Scheduling Order in the case that includes discovery. That is yet another question.
Hawaii Revised Statute 338-18(b) (point 9) allows for the release of a certified COPY of a birth record to: “a person whose right to inspect or obtain a certified COPY of the record is established by an order of a court of competent jurisdiction.”
In short, a subpoena is not a court order. Judges issue court orders and Hawaii law only permits inspection or release of a certified copy of an original record. It does not permit inspection or release of the original record.
Get a judge to issue a court order and receive a copy of the Certification of Live Birth.
Remember, he said not once but twice that we don’t have to be afraid of Obama. Consider why he would say that.

As if all the rest wasn’t enough, factor in the flaming gay cross-dressing male prostitute who was allowed to sleep in Barry’s room [didn’t the guy actually admit, once, in the Same Bed?!], and who at a minimum was permitted to hit young Barry without repercussions, and WOW. You just know there is enough rage and twisted hatred in Obama to fuel a gross of psychopaths.
