I think better of McCain than that. I don’t know that anyone on this board has passed a truer test of patriotism than he. If you theory is correct I’d like to believe he was unaware of it.
I never agreed with everything McCain said/did, but I always believed and continue to believe that he is a good man who loves his country.
Remember, he said not once but twice that we don’t have to be afraid of Obama. Consider why he would say that.
Many, many people are sure and certain that he threw the election, and I am one of them. He totally gave up trying to win after that “secret” meeting about the economy in, IIRC, July.
He may well have been a hero but he’s nuts and on the wrong side so often that he’s a danger to the country.
