If she is so stupid, how did she become so wildly successful at everything she does? She worked her way from town councilman to small-town mayor, to state oil and gas commissioner to state governor, to vice presidential candidate in a little over 15 years. She took on the corrupt good old boys in the Republican Party. And that answers the question why the GOP establishment fears Sarah Palin.

Sarah has humility. She’s truly humble. I love how she responded at the opening of THE UNDEFEATED in Pella, Iowa, when she said, “It’s NOT about me!”
History has never been kind to the humble, but they make their mark in spite of the haters.
Hopefully, just maybe, Sarah’s humility will be her ultimate armor.
The principle-over-personality humility she embodies will protect her.

That’s part of it. But the left knows they have overreached and woken up the nation to the fact that the ruling class is operating outside the limits of the constitution. If a true conservative gets elected with a majority in the senate and the house, along with majorities in the State Legislatures and Governorships, and has the power to appoint federal judges and Cabinet Officials, it is much easier to follow the constitution than to work your way around the constitution in order to contravene the plain meaning of the constitution. A true conservative, as opposed to a compassionate conservative, could do more damage to the causes of the left than they could stand.
