I thought at the time that Palin(™) went into the speeach not fully decided about quitting. It seemed to me that she was wrestling in her head still.

In retrospect, I am still convinved of it.

I can see no other explanation for why she would say first that she will not be running for re-election.

If her intention in the speech was to quit then why even bother to mention re-election? Did she think that she was going to quit and then maybe run again the following year?

Her quitting was damn near spur-of-the-moment....much more "screw this, I'm outta here" than a disciplined, calculated political move that smacks of genius as her acolytes would have us think.

That's why the silliness of the "lame duck" nonsense.

That statement is proof positive that you've never once picked up her book and read her own account of what led her to resign the governorship.

You're just parroting the liberal MSM with that trash. Why? Why would you take their word over Sarah Palin's?

I swear, if you were a newbie, just coming on to this site with that sort of garbage, you'd get the zot on the first day.
