These people were some of the most hateful people I have ever seen, said a distraught Glenn Beck this morning as he described an altercation he and his family had last night while watching a screening of Alfred Hitchcocks The 39 Steps in New Yorks Bryant Park. Explaining that a group of people yelled at his family, took pictures of them, and kicked a cup of wine onto his wife, Beck said that his security team feels that, had he reacted poorly, things might have gone off. I swear to you I think, if I had suggested, and I almost did, Wow, does anybody have a rope? Because theres tree here. You could just lynch me. And I think there would have been a couple in the crowd that would have.
Beck took particular exception with Gawker (he didnt name the website although he clearly described this post) for posting pictures of his family.

You people run your mouths about Glenn crying and act like its an every day occurrence. (far from it)
Frankly that fact that you make assertions with zero knowledge makes me wonder what really makes you so different from liberals.
BTW, I noticed you live in NJ...I rest my case.
If you've got something to say... say it.
I think your comment is gay.
You're right, I had forgotten about that.
I’ll say it. You’re an a**hole.
Best,

“This kind of ugliness belongs in North Korea, not America.”
That type of vile activity is common when the Nazi-like Liberals of Manhattan encounter an identifiable Conservative out in public.
I remember one spring day while waking along a street-fair on a long stretch of Broadway in the upper west side of Manhattan, during the war in Iraq.
A large group of patriotic Americans with flags, and banners in support of the troops, were walking along the sidewalk on one side of the street.
People in the crowds among the street fair started throwing items of food and anything else at the marchers, yelled profanities galore at them, called them Nazis and generally tried to chase them away.
That’s when I joined their impromptu march.
During that period there was a man who wrote op-ed pieces in the New York Sun about that kind of activity, signing himself as Mr X. He lived on the upper west side of Manhattan and many of the people he wrote about were his neighbors. He said it was bad enough but would have been impossible for him and his family if he had authored the articles in his real name.
And people say “it can’t happen here”. It already has.
That's pretty much what I think about guys who blubber about their problems on TV and radio.
I like Beck's message, I just want him to stop with the theatrics.
Regards,
PM
I like Glen, he does have some thought provoking commentary, but he needs to cowboy up. Somebody kicks wine on the mother of your children, you better swing for the bleachers.
I don’t know, I avoid Gawker like the plague. A wretched hive of scum and villainy and all that...
My son lives in LA, my daughter in NYC. You are correct, there is a huge difference. I hear very little English being spoken anymore in NYC. Also, when I was last there my daughter’s neighbors were all excited that the Muslim Brotherhood were taking over Egypt! Psychos abound in NYC.
Lol! You make a great point. I was wrong to direct my anger with the story towards your reply. I guess I read it as apathy when obviously it was not. Sorry.
Oh poo...
There isn’t a place in Manhattan (though if you include the boroughs you’re probably accurate), where I can’t speak English and have someone speak it back to me, really.
Even the immigrants are surprisingly clear when you speak to them and they speak back to you, in English despite what language they may speak to each other (not that that is okay really). The guys at Food Works that make my food everyday, for example. Or the Mexican guys at the “Italian” deli.
Lol. In California, they actually think it is part of their country, at least no one is claiming NYC as theirs... yet..
have a good evening.
Oh Boo Hoo,with your money I could put together a Army,Now Man Up and go hire some body guards.
Truthkeeper. I’d live in parts of California. I think it is the most beautiful state of all 57 states. Liberal? Yes. But very beautiful and clean in many place. NYC is a filthy cesspool of human debris.
Sorry folks.
This is one of the main reasons that polling places in Baltimore often have no Republican judges or observers but Dems from the city have no problem serving in Republican majority polling places in the county. Conservatives don't key people's cars or slash their tires for being in the "wrong" places.
Welcome to one of the hellholes of liberalism, Mr. Beck. My apologies on behalf of those who are too arrogant, too stupid, and too fascist to apologize for their own actions.
