These people were some of the most hateful people I have ever seen, said a distraught Glenn Beck this morning as he described an altercation he and his family had last night while watching a screening of Alfred Hitchcocks The 39 Steps in New Yorks Bryant Park. Explaining that a group of people yelled at his family, took pictures of them, and kicked a cup of wine onto his wife, Beck said that his security team feels that, had he reacted poorly, things might have gone off. I swear to you I think, if I had suggested, and I almost did, Wow, does anybody have a rope? Because theres tree here. You could just lynch me. And I think there would have been a couple in the crowd that would have.
Beck took particular exception with Gawker (he didnt name the website although he clearly described this post) for posting pictures of his family.

Yawn.
Hatred and intolerance of others. Gee, what was that big government party that used similar tactics in the late 30’s?
Move
He should know better about what Brownshirts Libs are, and yet we get this reaction—blubbering about how everyone needs to find love and get along. Hey dummy, the Libs don’t want to get along. They want to shut us down just like the Islamic savages do.
YES...he should move...like Rush did....take their TAX money away....
I get to read post after post after post attacking my California, but only in New York would this happen. It has got to be the rudest, nastiest city I have ever been to in my entire life.
Rude, snotty people, almost all of them liberal, and rotten weather on top of it.
Thanks, but I'll take California
Did he ask Mr. memory about the 39 steps?
Liberals reveal themselves in the face of that with which they disagree: with primal evil, violence and venom. Contrary to their little catchphrases (”diversity” “tolerance”), they only seek to destroy any man or institution that doesn’t tow their leftist line.
If you asked any one of these nuts WHY they hate Glenn Beck, I doubt you would receive a coherent sentence, much less a single fact based in reality.
And these are the people who now form the core of the Democratic party. They have hung on for so long because they have succeeded in pretending to the voters that they were a moderate party. Hopefully there are enough people today who are finally seeing how extreme and un-American they are.
“These people were some of the most hateful people I have ever seen,....”
They are called Democrats. Some people call them Nazis. By any other name, union, moveon. mob, they are thugs when they get together. This isn’t the America of our fathers.
Ever been to Boston?
It makes NYC look like Peoria when it come to leftist hate. NY just gets all the press.
Glad to see you’re alright (yawn) with conservatives being harassed. June is national gay pride month. For some reason I just remembered that when I read your post.
No, I haven’t had the pleasure. Thanks for the information...I’m taking notes.
I wouldn’t ask why they hate Glenn. They hate him because they’re told to hate him.
I would ask why they hate his wife and kids. And I would then ask why they target his wife and kids.
You can see the retweet in Jim Treacher's timeline:
Sitting behind glenn beck. Like RIGHT behind. suggestions for what I should do? You've got 3 hours to get them in.
America has pockets of unfriendly spots. New York just happens to have a bigger spot but I wouldn’t want to drive around parts of L.A. either.
It shouldn’t matter if this was Glenn Beck. Why the hell should anyone, any American be treated like this.
If the left was sooooo virtuous, why do they act so violent?
if he still paying taxes in new york? MOVE for gawd sakes and take all your money with you. Do a John Galt from Atlas Shrug
I just don't want them crying about it. June is national gay pride month. For some reason I just remembered that when I read your post.
If you've got something to say... say it.
