Since my last report, many people have asked why the definition in Minor v. Happersett of a natural-born citizen (as a person born in the US to parents who are citizens) is binding legal precedent. The answer is in the Courts holding that Virginia Minor was a US citizen because she was born in the US to parents who were citizens. That part of the actual holding is listed in the official syallbus of the case.
And furthermore, Minor was the first case to hold that women are equal citizens to men. To this day, that case is still cited as the first US Supreme Court decision which recognized that women were, in fact, citizens. It is still precedent for that determination. Google [ "minor v happersett" "women are citizens" ] and review the results. A multitude of articles discuss the holding of Minor that women are US citizens.

You keep using words like “deception.”
I do not think that word means what you think it means.
In any event, deception’s not in my philosophy. Sorry.
And I’ve never read Sun Tzu. Do you recommend it?
By the way, did it ever occur to you that you’re so far into conspiracy theories and intrigue and Sun Tzu and deception that you can’t even distinguish an ally from the enemy?
And Ive never read Sun Tzu. Do you recommend it?
I recommend you stop being an ass!
By the way, did it ever occur to you that youre so far into conspiracy theories and intrigue and Sun Tzu and deception that you cant even distinguish an ally from the enemy?
Trying to smear me won't work. You're no ally when you sneak around stabbing people in the back like you did on the other thread I linked to above. You knew who you were talking about and you didn't bother to show what you were talking about. You just made the claim and you didn't even give me the opportunity to defend myself by flagging me in your reply.
You're offended because I mentioned to someone else, as an explanation for why I had posted this thread, that somebody, somewhere in the vast world of the internet had basically presented me with an "argument from authority" regarding Mr. Donofrio.
You realize that I was probably talking about you (although nobody else on the internet would realize that, at least without doing an amount of work I would expect no one to do), and you're offended that I didn't actually name you and call your attention to the thread.
Honestly, I didn't want to bring you into it. I didn't want to mention you by name and publicly state that I had felt you'd made an argument from authority.
Not that a logical fallacy is a huge deal. Most human beings make logical fallacies.
Honestly, philman, I had no intention whatsoever of "trying to smear" you. I had no intention of involving you in that conversation at all, or of publicly identifying you as a person who might have made an argument from authority.
I simply mentioned that somebody had, and that that was what had started me on the train of the thought that made me realize that what Leo Donofrio has to say about himself is relevant for people to know.
I'm sorry that I offended you. It was inadvertent. I had no intention of specifically involving you at all. I do apologize.
Very eloquent.
You've asserted that I'm spreading lies on FreeRepublic. Is that simply an error on your part (it's understandable if it is), or is it a deliberate lie? Only you can tell us.
It was inadvertent.
Yeah, right! You're only sorry that you got caught, Dog Runs Circles.
Very stupid.
I didn't know anyody was at war. Perhaps that's not me you're flailing at.
And the two of you seem quite adept at deception.
Hmm, deception ... deception ... ah, here it is. "Any opinion that does not agree with philman_36." Ah, that clears it up.
So both of you are a couple of nobodies
Appeal to authority, ad hominem... one more infringement and they're going to yank your license to think. Not, apparently, that you ever used it anyway.
Do you know what Sun Tzu said about war?
Change it to a clownfish. (symbiosis)
I do, but I suspect you don't. I've probably read Sun Tzu more in the original Chinese than you have in English. Like most everything else, you distort him. The Art of War is above all things a philosophy of avoiding war. Sun Tzu was history's original pacifist.
Know your enemy and know yourself
Well, you've certainly got half that down pat.
I know you're still patting yourself on the back for having discovered my one-and-only Fogbow post, but tell me, while you were over there trying to work your way through all the big words without moving your lips, then dashing frantically back here to show off your prowess in being able to hold down the Ctrl key while simultaneously typing V, I don't suppose you happened to catch the rest of my post -- you know, the parts where I said things like, "Let me introduce myself" and "Hi, I'm new here", or the bit where the folks at Fogbow immediately accused me of being a Freeper infiltrator, or even the date?
I'd say, "Do the math", but I know subtracting 28 from 21 requires more fingers and toes than you've probably got (and your dog's tired of you borrowing his), so in order to avoid putting undo stress on those two synapses of yours I'll put two and two together for you: compared to my tenure on Fogbow, I'm already an old hand here at FR.
Always had After-Birther Nat pegged as a replacement troll to replenish the ranks because of the zots.
Yeah, but then you think Obama's BC is a fake, so your judgment and six bits'll just about buy you a paper down at the newstand, where you can read all about how Obama's still president, all the efforts of that formidable intellect known as Red Steel notwithstanding.
