In a February 13, 1818 letter to H. Niles, John Adams wrote:

“But what do we mean by the American Revolution? Do we mean the American war? The Revolution was affected before the war commenced. The Revolution was in the minds and hearts of the people; a change in their religious sentiments, of their duties and obligations…This radical change in the principles, opinions, sentiments, and affections of the people was the real American Revolution.“

The first “shots” of the Second American Revolution have not been fired, but the battle lines have been drawn.

There is now a radical change in the principles, opinions, sentiments, and affections of the American people.

Petitioning the current Congress for the redress of grievances is futile. Members of Congress have turned a deaf ear to the voices of their constituents.

The present occupiers of the US Government openly violate the Constitution, are hopelessly corrupt and politically correct, have brought us to the brink of bankruptcy, have opened our borders to illegal immigration and have permitted a fifth column promoting Sharia law to infiltrate our society.

They can no longer be trusted as guardians of our posterity.

Not a week goes by without yet another document analyst claiming that his Certificate of Live Birth presented by Obama at his press conference on April 27, 2011 is a forgery.

None of your points applied when this issue was brought up BEFORE the election. What was your reason then?

Regardless, YES WE STILL ADDRESS THIS ISSUE.

Well, the MURDER was so long ago.
She is an adult now, no need to bring up the molestation now.
Look at all the good works the priest is doing today, what good would it do to kick him out.

Is the usurpation of the presidency any less serious? Not worth the trouble?

No matter the cost, he must be exposed!

Now, I would disagree that everything Obama did would be null and void. He IS president.

Article 2 - The Executive Branch
Section 1 -

The President “.......No person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be ELIGIBLE to the Office of President........”

el·i·gi·ble/ˈelÉ™jÉ™bÉ™l/Adjective1. Having the right to do or obtain something; satisfying the appropriate conditions.

Obama was not ELIGIBLE, but he was elected, he got the votes of the electors, he was approved by Congress, and he was sworn in.

He IS (capital, IS) the president. He SHOULDN’T be, yet he IS.

I agree. While I don't think Denofrio’s arguments hold legal water - he at least has a legal and rational argument rather than “its a fake!!!!”.

Asking “Where is the Birth Certificate?” was the birther focus.

It was a huge mistake.

The argument that one must have two citizen parents - and be born in country - that apparently many claim to have “known” and been “taught” from grade school - AMAZINGLY wasn't advanced here on FR until AFTER the election.

But still - it at least is a legal argument not dependent upon a massive conspiracy.

Those “birthers” who said that the “Where is the Birth Certificate?” was a mistake and that the Constitutional argument should be advanced instead - they I have respect for - and while I don't agree with their legal reasoning - they at least have a legal argument - not a conspiracy theory.

Those that thought asking “Where is the Birth Certificate?” was going to lead us into the promised land need to....

EAT CROW AND LIKE IT!

No one's celebrating the rape of the Constitution. No one's making any argument whatsoever that the Constitution shouldn't be upheld.

You and other birthers are equating the upholding of the Constitution and laws of the United States as pretty much every credible legal mind in the country understands them as "celebrating the rape of the Constitution."

It simply isn't so.

This isn't a matter of “opinion”. There are many FACTS which you ignore.

The document released is a FAKE. EVERYONE says so. NO ONE says it isn't.

Natural Born Citizen in not in question. The evidence is OVERWHELMING. The fact that a FEW people, like you, are grasping at straws, doesn't make you correct.

The founders knew what a “Natural Born Citizen” was. The Supreme Court has ruled that it means to have been born in the country by citizen parentS.

And Obama is the perfect example of why “Natural Born Citizen” was written into the Constitution. Divide loyalties to foreign nations is a disaster in our Command and Chief.

John Jay to George Washington, you may have heard of them.

“New York 25 July 1787

Permit me to hint, whether it would not be wise & seasonable to provide a strong check to the admission of Foreigners into the administration of our national Government; and to declare expressly that the Command in chief of the American army shall not be given to, nor devolve on, any but a natural born Citizen.

The above letter from John Jay to George Washington went on to become Article II Section 1 Clause 5 of our US Constitution. (See below)

Article Two, Section 1, Clause 5 of the United States Constitution: Qualifications for office

“No person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of
the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President; neither shall
any Person be eligible to that Office who shall not have attained to the Age of thirty-five Years, and been fourteen Years a Resident within the United States.”

I do agree with you in many respects, although not in every respect.

I have no problem with either people having wanted to see the long form birth certificate, or with people being skeptical from the Constitutional point of view.

I don’t even really have a problem with people still personally believing that the birth certificate is a fake, or that Obama’s ineligible because his father was a Kenyan.

Some might be surprised to hear me say it, but I think ALL of the concerns have been legitimate. I don’t think any of the concerns have been so much of a “mistake.”

Where it’s a problem for me is when people are so committed to their point of view that 1) they simply can’t be swayed by any facts or reason, and 2) they personally attack fellow conservatives who’ve looked into the matter in detail and come to a different conclusion.

May God bless Orly Taitz! She is a true patriot and HERO, in the true sense of the words. She is an example to the rest of us of how to stand up to tyranny and injustice.

She may not be the best lawyer in the world, but she has been the most successful lawyer on this issue. She still has cases in the courts and her current case is in the discovery phase and has passed the bar of “standing”.
(name me another lawyer who has accomplished this? ........crickets......)

Donofrio, while a genius, is a QUITTER. Orly is a FIGHTER.

I would be proud to have Orly Taitz as my lawyer and my dentist and my realtor. What an accomplished woman, wife, and mother.

You people making fun of her, should be ashamed of yourselves.
