In a February 13, 1818 letter to H. Niles, John Adams wrote:

“But what do we mean by the American Revolution? Do we mean the American war? The Revolution was affected before the war commenced. The Revolution was in the minds and hearts of the people; a change in their religious sentiments, of their duties and obligations…This radical change in the principles, opinions, sentiments, and affections of the people was the real American Revolution.“

The first “shots” of the Second American Revolution have not been fired, but the battle lines have been drawn.

There is now a radical change in the principles, opinions, sentiments, and affections of the American people.

Petitioning the current Congress for the redress of grievances is futile. Members of Congress have turned a deaf ear to the voices of their constituents.

The present occupiers of the US Government openly violate the Constitution, are hopelessly corrupt and politically correct, have brought us to the brink of bankruptcy, have opened our borders to illegal immigration and have permitted a fifth column promoting Sharia law to infiltrate our society.

They can no longer be trusted as guardians of our posterity.

Not a week goes by without yet another document analyst claiming that his Certificate of Live Birth presented by Obama at his press conference on April 27, 2011 is a forgery.

Will the state secretaries just assume eligibility because he is now the s_itting pResident? If one or two state election committees demand proof of eligibility before accepting his registry for the primaries, would that have any significance to the average obotsky? ... I can see the posts at FR now: ‘How daft can you birfers be, demanding proof of eligibility? He’s already the sworn-in president!’, and ‘If he was eligible, he would never have been sworn in,’ or, ‘Since unJustice Roberts (the pirate) swore him in he’s eligible. Get over it ... eat crow ... concentrate on his policies and record.’

I don't consider the fact that someone got away with breaking the law to be the equivalent of repealing the law. The fact that he is sitting does not prove he is eligible. It proves that he managed to get past the guards the first time around. If the guards do their duty this time (of which there is currently no guarantee) he would have to establish his legitimacy to run. If he presents anything that we've seen so far, as far as i'm concerned, he's OUT! But who knows what the Secretaries of State will do. I would guess they would ignore it same as before unless they are put into a position where they cannot refuse to address it.

Sukarno was stripped of power and put under house arrest in early 1967, when Obama was still 5 years old. Obama did not arrive in Indonesia until later in this year. They probably weren't showing a lot of Sukarno speeches on TV when he arrived.

Thank you, Herbster, for your contribution from the FReeper archives! Certainly allmendream must drop that bit of rhetoric at this point. From the moment FReepers became aware of Obama's non-citizen lineage, FReepers began discussing it like Constitutional conservatives should. And, as awareness has grown the nation over, the number of birthers has grown. The majority of Americans do still give darn about the Constitution.

So when is it the time for a state elections board to vett a candidate the democrap machine posts as their primary candidate(s)? What moment in time can we start watching these duplicitous slugs ignore the laws of their respective states and allow the won on their ballots for primary then general?

Twinkie wasn’t involved in this “birther” question (I stumbled on this current thread); except, if anything of substance had been proven, I would have supported his removal. (I know. Big Whoop!)

Apparently, nothing has been proven. I’ve certainly not imagined myself enough of an expert to dissect anything, and haven’t tried.

Obama has been a disaster for this country. He & Michelle live EXTRY LARGE on our dime and rub it in our faces. - He and his cohorts have run us up a debt beyond belief, with every intention of running up more if allowed. To add insult to injury, he coddles the Muslims and slurs the Christians, “clinging to their guns and their religion”.
Gaffe, after gaffe, after gaffe, after gaffe, establish him as the most overrated individual I’ve seen lately.

You seem to delight in pointing out how GREAT & SHREWD he is, or something. Twinkie hasn’t been involved in the “birther” ranting. At all. You’re ranting. Why?

Obama didn’t come out of the birth certificate thing looking quite the victor you describe. He does not conduct himself trustworthy, so people were not amiss in not trusting him. Bringing out the BC from the first would have been transparent, and an honest person would have not been clearly tweaking noses just for the fun of it. - His games will end one day, God willing.

I understand the viewpoint.

Nonetheless, a precedent and rule was expressed in Minor v. Happersett (which I've just finished going through, in detail) that the children of US citizens resident abroad were legally considered as natural-born citizens.

And the precedent repeated numerous times in Wong Kim Ark was that the children even of foreigners, born in the country, were legally considered as natural-born.
