The mark of any successful political venture by Governor Palin often results a misrepresentation of her words that only leaves the media with egg on their faces. Governor Palin’s bus tour has been successful in allowing her to highlight the greatness of the history of America, meet everyday Americans and fellow politicians, and share her policy stances on everything from fishing regulations in New Hampshire to ethanol subsidies to the debt ceiling. Such successes leaves the media grasping at proverbial bendy straws. Today’s news is no different. Poised with the opportunity to more appropriately address political stories essentially pre-written for them, such as abysmal jobs numbers under the Obama administration or the newest report that the federal government lends financial aid to the very same countries from whom they borrow , the media have chosen to focus more on their own historical ignorance by creating a story out of a non-story and misportraying Governor Palin’s comments on Paul Revere yesterday:

You need to go read the article at the site. Paul Revere did indeed warn the British when he was captured by them. Palin did NOT misspeak.
Bingo. Nicely put. The poster you’re responding to, seems to have trouble understanding how Palin has taken charge. I doubt the jerk likes her at all. There’s plenty of time between now and the election. In the meantime, Palin is framing her campaign the way she wants it.
Well you have to admit, it’s a pretty incoherent paragraph. I wish she wouldn’t try to talk so fast. How about some pauses (it’s the one thing Obama has mastered, and it got him millions of votes).
And I thought it was lanterns, not bells.

Try to not suck.
Several years ago I spent a most enjoyable weekend in the outskirts of Boston, touring the places along Revere’s ride, Lexington green, and the Old North Bridge.
The two most memorable spots were the bridge, and the USS Constitution. Both of them have the same interesting affect on me... you simply can’t stand there without “feeling it”. I swear I could hear them.

THANK YOU for posting this. I saw the article and had to run out but it sure needed to be seen. I don’t know why the left stream media insists on making asses of themselves by trying to make Sarah look like an idiot. It ALWAYS comes back to bite them in the butt. They continue to call her stupid, even as they continue to act stupidly, and the whole country is seeing them for what they are.
Moving forward, the more people who see this kind of gotcha that isn’t, will be more prone to seek facts rather than take any of these obama psychphants’ word for anything...including their fawning mendacity about obama.

Sir, excuse me, but if your so damn smart why don’t you get up off your behind and out of your armchair and get on out there “on the trail” and, out of love for your country, risk a Giffords type maniac every second of every day like she does! No doubt too that you could talk all day long every single day with a hundred cameras stuck in your face and not make one slip up! It’s “geniuses” and “hypocrites” like you that have most of us sick of the left in general.
And, I am sure she quite doesn’t give a damn what a pdser like you thinks about her “handling this bus tour” and I am fairly certain the vast majority of freepers don’t either. So, clearly, the only point of your post is not to inform or contribute to the days debate but to piss people off...(i.e. freepers)........which is insulting to all those who try to contribute to a reasonably intelligent discussion here on FR here each day.
If you by chance discover that you prefer a more collegial response to your posts, then I suggest you not refer to this modern day heroine by calling her a pig. Insofar as “self promotion” is concerned, I imagine there are a lot safer ways to do that too!
As for rambling and incoherent at least she knows how many states there are in the union..................your candidate either does not know or simply can’t count and apparently his minders are so stupid they forgot to put 50 instead of 57 on his teleprompter that day!!!
And agreed on the pauses rather than the “ums” which takes some unlearning.
Go to the link though. It was a good reminder to me of what I have heard before, but forgotten. (Revere's capture, the ringing of church bells sounding the warning going up the road, the shooting of guns as an alarm, etc.)
