Blacks and the Arab-Israeli Conflict
Henry Louis Gates' "The Root" ^ | 28 May | Shipp

Over time, blacks have become more sympathetic to Palestinians, but they won't express their views loudly -- despite President Obama's plunge into the Middle East conflict.

... In the mid-20th-century civil rights era, Jews were some of our staunchest supporters when we woke up with "our minds stayed on freedom." In the Mississippi about which Nina Simone so famously sang, the three civil rights workers lynched in 1964 included two Jewish men. After the fight for voting rights, most dramatically demonstrated by the Selma-to-Montgomery march over the Edmund Pettus Bridge in 1965, blacks and Jews found less to agree upon -- especially when affirmative action took center stage.

But for decades, many blacks have increasingly identified with Palestinians because they see them as underdogs in the superpower plays that cast Israel as the bully, supported by billions of dollars from the U.S. government and a very activist Jewish-American community. Palestinians appeal to many of us because of their enduring freedom struggle. We can identify with being displaced and dispersed, with having limited rights, with poverty, with being stigmatized. Even former U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice is reported to have privately pointed out the obvious parallels with the black experience.

Before President Obama, when blacks tried to point out that Palestinians have a freedom song that should be heard, they got into trouble. Jesse Jackson, who has committed a number of gaffes when it comes to American Jews and Israel, embraced Yasser Arafat in 1979 and again in 2002 -- each time to widespread censure. Arafat, the über-Palestinian leader, died in 2004 without realizing his goal of a Palestinian state and without convincing Israel that he was a man of peace.

Great post exposing the communist thread in American “Christianity.”

You need to look into the backgrounds of Obama and Wright - both “former” Muslims with a “church” closely tied to the Nation of Islam in Chicago. As Holder said, he sees Nation of Islam thugs as “my people.”

Would Muslims lie about being Christians in order to take over the Chicago Black Christian community to serve the agenda of Islam? Yes they would and I think a former Imam (Wright) and a Muslim from Kenya with political ambitions, who bows to Muslim leaders and who cozies up to the radical Islam Muslim Brotherhood in power while we are at war with Islamic terrorists, did just that.

In addition, Obama is central in these Middle Eastern Islamic coups and he knows radical Islam (his people) will be taking over those governments and societies. His administration official testified to Congress that the Muslim Brotherhood is a “secular” group of Muslim moderates. That is a lie.

Obama just announced that he wants to send over 2 billion quickly to his new friends in these countries because he has left these Nations in a murderous rampage of chaos. Surrounding Israel with radical Islamic governments (armies), proposing the US pump them with money and then demanding Israel surrender land back to the 1967 lines, should remove all doubt.

With Muslims and communists, I watch what they do. I could care less how their lips flap. The Koran prescribes communism as Islam’s economic system. There is an overlap between the interests of communists and in the interests of Islamists. Obama is both communist and Muslim, in my opinion. According to the Koran, it is fine to deceive the infidels in order to advance Islam. Both communists and Islamist lie when they say they are Christian. They hate Christians and they hate Jews.

Liberation Theology/Black Liberation Theology (revolutionary communism) includes the “Black Muslim” thing, despite the fact that it is commonly only linked to bogus ‘Christian’ groups like Wright’s.

Malik Zulu Shabazz, chairman of the New Black Panther Party for Self-Defense (NBPP):
"We believe in a Black first philosophy and a Black Liberation Theology."

“Although it [The New Black Panther Party] says it sees capitalism as the fundamental problem with the world and “revolution” as the solution, the new party does not draw its influences from Marxism or Maoism as the original party did. Instead, in a carefully-worded, roundabout form of ethnic nationalism,[8] they say that Marx based his ideology and teachings on indigenous African cultures, and that the NBPP therefore need not look to Marxism or Maoism as a basis for their program, but can look to ideologies that stem directly from those African origins.”
