Lately the LDS has embraced the title “Christian” but in the past venomously opposed it.
I love Mormons.
But Mormonism is a (deceptive) non-Christian belief system, said so by founders, elders, LDS prophets and never recanted.
Everyday Mormons apparently aren't familiar with the history.
Now that it is acceptable to be called Christians, most think they are the same as the main stream Christians. Not so unless they have made that decision apart from their church doctrine and by communicating with the God of the Bible. Not the one in the Book of Mormon.
I do not witness in a hateful way, but none the less by exposing false religious beliefs I have been hated.
No biggie, it goes with the territory.
Thanks for the post.
You have a magnificient gift, God telling you who are Christians. And being able to know a Christian when you see one.
I would bet most Christians would tell you the same thing. It's an inner joy and peace that shows.
For years we had a fake Catholic here, GOP_Lady, that made clear that she was a great Catholic, and that Mormons were Christians, and that we were all bigots.
The official stance of her claimed Catholic church meant nothing to her, even the personal pronouncement by her supposed hero, John Paul II on Mormonism meant nothing to her.
That was her way of pushing Mitt Romney the candidate while at the same time attacking the social conservatives here.
I would bet most Christians would tell you the same thing. It's an inner joy and peace that shows on the outside.
Let me be the first to ask... so how do you know you are not being hateful? Is it because all the others who are acting in a hateful way tell you you are not, or is it because those you are “helping” think you are not being hateful?
Just curious.
