It does seem to be fairly universal on the document, which is exactly what I frequently see happen when I shrink a file.
In this case, I suspect that they first expanded it, to make it easier to edit, then shrunk it back after they were done.
I'd have to see the same thing on something I scanned my self to believe it...it just doesn't make sense to me.
Sure sounds like to me. The tone of the post is very telling.
If you take the baby-sitters initial word for it, she said she baby-sat for ANNA when her own daughter, who was born in July 1959, was 18 months of age. If ANNA was Stanley Ann Dunham, that child would have been conceived when Stanley Ann was still in high school. So no, there are no images of her pregnant.

You are very quick to call names. I didn’t say it was on this thread. There have been many threads where the claim was made that the statement was during the debate. Do you deny that?
If someone has such a video where 0bama admits he wasn’t born in the US, it’s a bombshell. (Ambiguous statements that could refer to ancestry don’t count. I know JFK said he was “a son of Ireland.”) Many would be interested in seeing it - I know I would. Or is this the current version of the “whitey tape”?

I don’t really see it happening much on scanning.
It’s almost always a result of manipulation of the file size. When 3 pixels have to become 2 pixels, the antialiasing has to literally remake the edges between different colors or shades.
Say you scan a file that you want to modify, so you begin by scanning to the max resolution, then you take the jpg and expand it to a physically larger rectangle in Corel Draw, and then convert it back to jpg. This gives you more pixels so that you have less chance of the margins of the piece that you splice in showing up. But doing that makes the actual image physically larger, so after you’re done with your “electronic surgery” you have to reduce it back to its original size. That is when the fuzzy logic software takes over to make new pixels that combine existing pixels together into a smaller number.
That is when the halos begin to expand around the text.
