The Dream of a President ‘kick butts’ Trump (or ‘If only Trump ran.. ’)

The BIG What if ?

What if? What if Europeans stopped Germany from rearming in the early 1930s? What if Truman stopped the Chinese communists takeover in 1948? What if Johnson had invaded North Vietnam in the mid 1960s? What if G H.W. Bush (SR) refused to raise taxes in 1990? We all have our favorite historical ‘What if?’ to dream about. Well what if Trump actually ran for President?

A Republican who will finally will kick Butt

Trump’s interviews gave us a sample of what we could expect from a President ‘kick butts’ Trump, and we can take him at his word because he is both a successful businessman and a TV star. First, he would easily nail the Republican nomination, he told us that. Next he would easily beat Obama in 2012; In fact he probably would get Obama to pull out of the race before the election and get to run unopposed. How? By using the birth Certificate strategy. Trump would overwhelm Obama with so many demands for different documents that Obama would have no time to campaign. Obama would probably quit the race in complete frustration. Trump would be president by default. When you got Trump on your side, everything is easy.

Foreign policy Wizard

Next is foreign policy. We all hate those $%##@ Chinese when they steal our jobs and those $%# @Arabs when they jack up our price of gas. Well with Trump we would have a guy who knew exactly what butts to kick and who actually has the guts to do it. When you see the price of gas go up, and your work plant puts out a sign saying ‘closed: moved to China’ doesn’t that p… you off??? Well with President ‘kick butt’ Trump we wouldn’t have to take it anymore. He would put his feet up on the President’s desk with his $1,000 suit (from China, those darn Chi-coms make everything now-a-days) and pick up the phone and say :” “Look you Arab $&#ers, you gimmi that g..damned oil cheap or I am moving my military in to take it from you, after I get done grabbing Iraq’s oil. I hate you $&#%ing Arabs. Now go to hell, I got to call those Chinese $&#ers and tell them I am raising their god...ed taxes”, Man that would have felt good. So gas prices would go down and those %$&# Chinese would start packing up their (our) plants and shipping them back to the USA, and soon we would get a phone call asking us to come back to work.

The Wizard who could fix it all

The thing about Donald is he had all the answers at his fingertips. Not only that but they were all so easy. Many of these problems that seem to evolve over decades could be solved with just a phone call. Why didn’t any of the other presidents think of them? Trump answered that in an interview. The other presidents were neither as smart nor as tough as him. Trump ran successful businesses and then successfully managed their bankruptcies. He knows how to play hard ball. He knows how to fight. He knows how to win. He knows how to kick butts.

But Why not now?

The problem we have and we all have to live with if we even can is: How could the man that had all the solutions to the nation’s problems at his fingertips, the man who had the race in the ‘bag’, just decide to quit? And quit even before he really started? When I heard that he decided not to run I thought my god, why? It must be something even more important than saving the nation from its dire problems. To cure cancer? To stop a third World War from starting? To stop another world economic crash? To stop genocide? No, I still can’t believe it. It was to return for another season of The "Apprentice". Yes, Donald Trump the man with all the answers to the nation’s problems, in fact the only one with them, abandoned us for a TV show contract. An entertainment TV show at that!! How could anyone see this coming? He seemed so perfect. He told us exactly what we wanted to hear, isn’t that what it’s all about?

Trump has always promoted himself as a dealmaker. In fact, The Art of the Deal was his first book. Whatever brash statements he's made on various topics, they're just the starting point. He knows he won't get that.

I doubt you'd like the end result of any deals a potential President Trump would make with Congress on domestic policy matters or with other nations in the foreign policy arena.

No JFK then no 1960s, it would merely have been another decade of Eisenhower’s veep as President.

Immigration would never have happened, not Vietnam, none of that, America would still have a future.

Yes, Donald Trump the man with all the answers to the nation’s problems, in fact the only one with them, abandoned us for a TV show contract.

Trump never had any answers to the nations problems. He was just using the Republican base to promote himself. Trump has done this before to generate attention for himself and you can bet he will probably do it again (and some suckers will keep falling for it).

Trump is a clown. He is not a conservative. He is a northeastern liberal with a caricature in his mind of what conservative primary voters wanted to hear - and then he tossed out piles of red meat to excite them. Sadly, it worked on some people who were fooled by him - particularly the birther types who are so wound up in this conspiracy theory that practically anyone that speaks to it will have their support.

Donald was never going to make a serious run for the presidency because he is not a serious person when it comes to politics. The most he could have done was make a mockery of the GOP primary or maybe launch a vanity indie bid to siphon off some of the anti-Hussein vote and help ensure Obama remains in office. Either way, Trump is a nothingburger and the people who were backing him should feel entirely embarrassed and humiliated for having done so.

Yes, Trump served them up a CROW burger - but they keep insisting it is 100% pure beef - and strangely enough - seem unwilling to take a BITE!

If Trump ran as a democrat, maybe...
As a Republican, nope.
As a conservative... not even close.
(But I would take him over Romney.)

Ok, that's it. You TDSers have been spewing your Trump hatred enough. Trump is a patriot, he donated 6 weeks of his time to this country. That was a huge sacrifice for him. Do you know how much that cost him? Of course not, because he never made public his personal finances, but he would have if he run, which he would of if it wasn't for that popular TV show. We can guess it must be alot of money for him to do it.

Six weeks of Trump's time! He sacrificed by spending that time in front of MSM cameras talking about all his ‘solutions’, and how smart and gutsy he is (except for disclosing those financial records.)

On 4th of July think of Trump. Men like that made this country great!

Good stuff, but your Trump post on this thread was one for the books. Satire written in such a way one has to read it a few times just to be sure is the best ;) When I say I lol'd I mean it. My brother is over visiting and I showed him and he was laughing too.

Thanks again, I think the other vanities were in some ways better but parodies are like fresh food, always taste better at the time it is made when the issues are fresh.

This particular parody utilized the fact that I understood where the suckers were coming from. They are frustrated, they are angry, they don't understand the complex issues that few if any fully understand(certainly not me) , so they get attracted to those that claim to have the easy answers that they want to exist, but don't. And they don't want to do a few quick internet searches that would easily disprove the silly Trump claims, as I did and posted in comments of those Trump threads.

Ever see those Extenz commercials for the pill that grows that certain male body part? Or the commercials that sell you a software package that creates highly profitable internet based businesses on your computer that run themselves (with just your computer and their program) ? People WANT to believe it is true, so they send their money in. That was Trump. He addressed real serious problems with made up nonsense, much like Obama in 2008.

You are entirely correct. Human nature is what it is. People WANT to believe - particularly in that which fits their worldview.

I regularly attack skunks like Trump and silly conspiracy theories because I think those of us that know better have some responsibility to call out BS when we see it.

Satire done right always makes me laugh. The Trump piece was so good because there are, as you know, many people who could easily have read that, assumed you were serious, agreed with it, and went on thinking Trump was a hero.

Me too, especially stuff easily disproved with some simple internet searching.

Maybe they would think : “That is almost exactly what I was thinking”. Others read only part of it maybe and thought, “What a load of crap, Trump is a jerk. that author must be a gullible sap.”.
