Here it comes
Sheriff, Don Hartman Sr.
http://www.mikechurch.com/Today-s-Lead-Story/in-sheriff-if-we-need-to-conduct-random-house-to-house-searches-we-will.html
Just yesterday, the Indiana SC came down with this decision - nullifying the ‘Castle Doctrine” that gave us protection in our homes since 1215 (Magna Carta) - and again in our 4th Amendment -”modern Fourth Amendment???
Thus rules the court:
“We believe ... a right to resist an unlawful police entry into a home is against public policy and is incompatible with modern Fourth Amendment jurisprudence,...”
http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2011/05/15/indiana-high-court-rules-people-resist-illegal-entry-police-homes/
No “RIGHT to resist UNLAWFUL POLICE ENTRY”
And the Sheriff is ready to roll today.
This smells. Is this the spearhead movement? Do they plan on pushing this from state to state - or when it gets to the SCOTUS, which it must, do they already have the votes to declare it valid?
This sheriff is widening the ‘right to search’ ANYONE'S house “at random” - meaning they wouldn't even need a hint of cause.
We are in deep doo doo, folks.
slug, buck, slug, buck, and youll need an IED set up at the rear door, maybe a few molotov cocktails too
The SCOTUS will say poison tree.
So, we’re going to start with a complete search of the Sheriff’s house, right???

As it should be.
That was hysterical!
Yes. If this doesn't wake people up, nothing ever will.
For the Sheriff to come out the very next day and expand their right to search ‘unlawfully’ to ‘random’ searches...there is something very evil afoot here that will not be confined to one state. We are going to be very lucky if we still have the right to vote by 2012.
One would hope so...
But I wouldn’t bet my savings on it...
Yep, he's definitely off my list.
Who's left anyway?
Where the hell is that fresh air from the great white north?
Where’s the ACLU when you need them?
It will be interesting to see how people react to this, my guess is that they’ll like sheep accept it and go on with their serf like existence. They’ll also gladly convict any fool that does manage to shoot a cop (now legally entering your home) of murder so don’t think that you’ll get off because of your righteous cause, it ain’t going to happen.
Sad how we’ve lost our rights one at a time in the interest of “feeling” safe and being “protected”, all the while being slowly made serfs to the ruling elite. Truly we have become a banana republic in every sense of the word. Oh well, I hear that the conclusion of the 22nd season of survivor was good!
One of these days, these wannabees are going to assault the wrong household...
You are a fool, and stupid beyond reason
He better not even think of running for the GOP nomination for President...
It no longer shocks me that the government is actively rolling back every inch of our liberty. It is shocking that they now feel that they can openly discuss it without any significant blowback. This does indeed indicate that the “awkward time” is just about over.
“What is that commotion at the door??”
“Claymore. Go back to sleep.” :)
hint, hint, you can get ten rnd magazines for them, though they're kinda awkward compared to the 4 rnd standard. I have the carbine length shorty barrel. 16", but according to Remington it's a bit over 17". It's shorter than a legal shotgun, and so just as fast handling if not faster than a tactical 12 gauge pump. A guy can get all of them off as fast as he can bring the barrel back to covering target.
Noisy as all get out in the short barrel configuration. It rings the left ear of a right-hander.
Much better focus of ft. lbs with a rifle round. Works better for targets as far or a bit further than the end of the driveway, too. Unless you live on the King Ranch or something, and need to drive just to get to the mailbox.
For nighttime, forget the scope, it'll be in the way more than being helpful. Close up, use instinctive point-and-shoot.
“This notion of random searches without warrant is a formula for more dead cops and more dead citizens.”
A few grand juries indicting cops and their bosses for murder will cool their jets.
