I went to the local Sportsman's Warehouse a couple of days ago and held an AR 223 rifle for the very first time. It felt very good! I have little experience with these. Been shooting my Beretta 92F for almost 15 years, and a Ruger Super Blackhawk .44 for about ten. I have an old Marlin .22 that I just sighted in with the scope. three rounds within a half inch at whatever the end of the rail of the range was.
Well, I’ve been enjoying the 4095. Got a Hi-Point scope and compensator, paid for a Gold Membership at the local range, and have fired over 100 rounds out of it.
Unfortunately when I took it down for cleaning before sticking it back in my safe, a couple of metal parts flew out of the trigger mechanism and into the stable black hole in my house (Where all of my missing socks likely are).
Soooo, today I’ll be taking it to the shop to see if they can order the missing parts and repair it.
So for therapy, I’m heading to the Tanner Gun Show this weekend.
