I'm not a so-called "birther," as such, pursuant to those questioning the legality of Obama's reign as president. And I can think of only one scenario under which I would vote for Donald Trump. With those caveats stated, I do think Trump should be applauded for bringing the battle to Obama in a bare-knuckle street-brawl manner and I think he should continue.
Barack Hussein Obama is a dishonest, untruthful, arrogant, narcissistic human being. I say that because he has conducted himself in ways that make it impossible to conclude anything else. And his suddenly providing a birth certificate, after ignoring requests to provide same for three years, makes him even more so.
His refusal to do so, in addition to his failed policies, has undermined the confidence of the nation in his leadership, including many in the military who must answer to him. It was also a clear example of his disregard for the propriety of the office he holds. A true leader would have understood that the office he holds is bigger than him, and that he serves at the pleasure of the American people. Had he understood those truths, for the good of the nation he would have ended the debate immediately.
Complicit in his disrespect, an ineffective, politically biased media failed to do their jobs in treating his background as they did President George W. Bush's military records. When it came to Bush, nothing was too small or too insignificant for them to pursue and report. Even the Clintons had their most personal and darkest secrets made known, or at least speculated about. And need I mention the type of investigations they did concerning Justice Thomas, Arnold Schwarzenegger, John McCain or Sarah Palin?(continued)

I read an article on the Trump phenomenon. I think the author nailed it. People are sick of our metrosexual, bike helmet wearing, girly bike riding President and were dying for a masculine punch them-in-the-face man. It could have been anybody who took on the role (except Leonardo DeCaprio, who couldnt pull it off.) (Bush 2 was such a man.)
Do we like Trump politically? H*ll no! Do we want somebody to take a masculine swing at our metrosexual president? Yes!
Anyone seen ornheard anything from Trump? Seems he is MIA last few days.
Masculine? Who's that?
The Trumpster has had a rough few days. The long form BC release kinda blew up the birther stuff and that is what was generating most of his headlines, dropping F bombs and calling the Chinese Mother****ers won't exactly endear him to traditional Republican primary voters, then Hussein knocked Celebrity Apprentice of the air while he was dithering around preparing to showboat the Bin Laden kill, and now that we are back to serious issues like the war on terror there just isn't much oxygen for someone like Trump to thrive.
I am for Sarah Palin or bust. As far as bare knuckle brawling? I think we need people focusing in on the fact that Obama had little to do with the capture of Bin Laden! All this crap about how it was such a courageous decision he made? What was he going to say, either go for it or do not. And he was only thinking about if it would help him politically, that was the only risk he was worried about@
And now what is he doing? Going to ground zero Thursday to try to use this to his political advantage.
Doesn`t anybody remember all the terrible things he said about the troops? Such as (from a poor memory) indiscriminately bombing/ villages from the air, killing civilians and kicking in doors of innocent Iraqis in the dead of night.
He voted to not fund the troops prior to the 2008 elections after saying he would never do that. This guy cares about nothing but himself, could care less about the troops. And his wife out there pretending to care now about the troops, after saying she was never proud of her country in her adult life until Barry ran for President.
I say the bare knuckle brawling should focus on the fact that it was the troops that deserve all the credit for getting Obama, and not Barry!
We need to remind all that Bin Laden was caught in spite of all that Obama tried to undo, such as interrogations etc.
Maybe during a debate Obama could be asked this...on a scale of 1-10 how much credit should go to you for getting Usama? Should GW Bush get some credit or just you? How much of the success of the operation was because of decisions you made? Did you draw up the plans? Do the troops deserve most/all of the credit? Why are you out there using this politically? and btw...did the surge in Iraq work?
Shawn Hannity should be the moderator of the debate
Trump is NOT going to come out without all his i’s dotted and t’s crossed.
Just look at all the information being posted here on FR. Could you imagine all the info Trump is getting and trying to sort out and confirm?
This obama, oops, osama killing just probably threw a “wrench in his bike spikes”.
We haven't heard the last of Trump.
Trump pressed and insisted on a real birth certificate, forcing barry to produce a fake.
These things take time. Patience is a virtue (which I lack considerably).
Either the Lord forgives us or He doesn't. Only time will tell.
Who are you to tell us who we like and who we don’t? Myself I’d vote for Trump.
He seems to have folded like a cheap suit on the release of the most recent forgery.
Trump is getting traction for any number of reasons. He is a celebrity, a billionaire, an outsider, a non-politician, a plain talker. I don’t think the country is ready for another Bush, but what isn’t to like in this economic climate about business men who’ve run successful businesses and created jobs....
Maybe he “folded like a cheap suite”, maybe he’s preparing his next move.
He did force the Kenyan King to produce that forgery, a forgery that, as of now, is accepted by nearly all as an authentic document.
Trump is weighing his options and preparing his next offensive. He’d be stupid to do anything now, in the immediate wake of the killing of Obama Bin Laden.
Trump will be back.
Trump will be back.
I hope so...He is very entertaining and makes bozo sweat.
That is the sad part. If Trump is the best we can do, we're in a world of hurt.
Fortunately, there's Sarah...
