The global warming mania that swept the nation is subsiding, but in its wake its left a horde of unnecessary and counterproductive laws, and more than a few unintended unpleasant consequences.
Exhibit #1 Federal officials have told a solar developer to stop work on two-thirds of a construction site in northeast San Bernardino County because no more tortoises can be disturbed, . . .

let me be the first to offer my congratulations on coming up with an entirely new way to pimp your blog posts...
I mean it; this is truly a new form of blog pimping that I do not think we have seen here before now. It’s not really your blog, but you’re pimping excerpts of your own posts none the less...
Jolly good!

Frankly, I’m totally freaked out by the concept of a whole bunch of “disturbed tortoises” slowly lumbering around.
It’s like the prelude to a zombie flick.

I would love to read this; since it’s your own stuff, why don’t you post ALL of it?!? Please?

Thanks. When we’re self-sufficient enough not to need to be paid to work, we’ll probably stop promoting our own sites.

At least you're BLATANT about intentionally siphoning Free Republic's VOLUNTEER DONORS off of our non-commercial site so that YOU CAN PROFIT from them. Thanks a lot, BLOG PIMP.
Ever heard of "Thou shalt not steal?"
Your use of the Holy Name of Our Savior to end each reply does nothing but bring further shame on the ethically questionable activity in which you are engaging.
To claim the moral high ground while (at the very least) intentionally misusing the private property of another only intensifies the scummy activity in which you are engaged.
FreeRepublic is designed to be a safe haven for members and lurkers where they can feel free from the perils of commercial sites such as yours. If you would post your material here, in full and in good faith, you might find that the ultimate rewards of being a constructive part of this community far outweigh the short term gains you might realize from pimping your site.
If you choose the other path, then you are nothing more than a scummy blog pimp, no matter who you invoke in you tagline.
+1
