Im going to start off with the Presidential picks even though its secondary to our main purpose, and then get to the nitty gritty in the rest of the data. As always, contact me if you have questions or comments; the number of approaches I could take to highlight the data are nearly endless, so tell me if you have a particular wrinkle in mind. 7222 readers participated in the survey. Sarah Palin once again leads the Primary race among Hot Air readers. She is again followed by Herman Cain in second. Tim Pawlenty and Mitch Daniels take third and fourth place respectively, while Mitt Romney leads a very tight pack of Rand Paul and Michele Bachmann, in fifth.

As always, the numbers are pretty consistent month to month, with the candidate spread widening as people leave the field and votes get reassigned.

There are a lot of ways to look at the favorability data, so since Ive laid out the overall vote already, lets start that way. As a reminder, favorability questions were based on a 1-to-7 scale, with 7 being the highest mark.
(CHART AT LINK)
The blue line is the overall approval average of a candidate. The red line is a peer average that is, the candidates favorability with those who said they voted for someone else. Youll note that the peer average is always lower than the overall average, since candidates supporters have an interest in giving their person marks higher than everyone else. Supporters on average gave their candidate a rating of 6.49. Non-supporters on average gave those candidates a 3.60 rating. The field as a whole was rated at 3.76, or roughly average-to-below average....

I believe this is the poll where they kindly asked that people not vote more than once, but I am sure they probably did anyway.
Maybe we should try asking this at the democrat heavy polling places in Nov of 2012.
The electoral college means we have to win a certain number of states and their electors, not “democrat heavy polling places” as you describe them.
I pity the fool who misunderestimates her.
I was making a joke, I don’t know where you came up with the Electoral College unless Hor Air has one.
Yes I am something else other than a delusional mindless clone like you. I am also not rude and follow posting decorum, unlike you.
Thanks
No jokes allowed. This is a very serious faux poll.
Humor doesn’t happen here anymore. Oh well LOL
Plenty:
1)She uses the right hand for the fork
2)She does not shampoo daily.
3)Often talks while driving.
4)Sometimes uses the left hand for the fork.
5)Woman belongs at home taking care of the kids.
6)Has a whiny voice.
7)Ripped off millions from the oil companies in Alaska. (a favorite of some.)
8)Can't win.
9)Quits when the going get tough.
10. Did I mention she can't win?
ad nauseum.

I guess I've missed that Lefty talking point on Palin, and I thought I knew them all. Can you point me to a link on the nonsense?
But as I was saying the record is in the in forum postings! :)
Ahhh... we see. Good to know. Thank you for pointing out how you're "not rude..." we might have missed that.

Week-in-and-week-out, day-in-and-day-out we get the standard Libsnot Anti-Palin screeds, over and over and over again. Then, once in a blue moon, we get some actual good news about Sarah...
...and the demented, bent-brained, PDS diseased sphincters swoop in like diarrhea-spraying vultures to stink it up so we can't even enjoy that brief moment of clarity on a site arguably devoted to clarity and right-thinking.
While I truly do have pity for those whose tragic excuses for an existence is so empty and devoid of things which enthuse and excite them that their only substitute for normal human joy or happiness is to ruin positive Palin threads on FreeRepublic, I do not believe that their affliction gives them the right to make our lives miserable. I should think that their pathetic, empty lives are miserable enough to make up for all of us.
Either that, or we get to post a "PALIN-UMENICAL" warning in the title, like the Catholics do, which prevents disruptive haters from using those threads to take a steaming mental dump.
IMHO.

Well, there is hot air, then there is thin air...
