Fabulous straight talk from Trump. The reporter learns that The Donald does not suffer fools.

Interview highlights: Thanks Palin; Says, if he were POTUS, we would take Iraq's oil and compensate our allies; Would not allow Iran to take over Iraq; Would impose 25% duty on Chinese imports.

I'd have to vote for Trump out of the three.

I've been deceived by the GOP once too many times.

The “senior” “conservative” members of Congress are still running the show. They will be the ones that get Obama reelected.

Right now there isn't one candidate that energizes me to vote Republican.

Right now I'd take a chance on Trump.

Trump is a long time Dem donor. He’s pure snake oil.

He’d never get elected as an independent. Trump knows exactly what he thinks and isn’t afraid to say what he thinks. “Independents” are clueless and think whatever the last news clip they saw tells them to think.

Its the OBAMA dream, bring on the 3rd Party, they couldn’t ask for more.

Which probably explains the mild response from the erstwhile thin-skinned 0bama. I do believe this whole act has been orchestrated with 0bama's people. Trump is one never to be trusted.

Something about this whole thing STINKS. Can you spell O-R-C-H-E-S-T-R-A-T-E-D?

OF COURSE IT'S ORCHESTRATED!!!!! Don't you think all campaigns and elections are?????

At this point in time, the Trumpster is a private citizen of the United States of America doing what we all wish we could, but don't have the economic or recognition muscle to do it.

He's got the stain scared. He's got the left scared. In point of fact, he's got the far right scared (if responses in this thread are to be believed).

Yet - to date....
1. He's just a private citizen,
2. He's not announced that he's running for anything at all,
3. And he's pulling all of the negative attention away from the boring, insipid, brain-dead, former loser rino/repub/conserv/tparty potential candidates.

Yes....he's smart, he plans ahead, he has plenty of money to get things done.

But don't let his "music" fool you....

Listen to the drumbeat...not the music!

Romney with all his flaws still has more integrity in his left pinky than comb-over boy has in his whole body.

Amen to that. I find it interesting here that Romney takes repeated hits for changing his political positions over time. Trump does the same thing and not a peep.

Trump's drumbeat is:

Trump is going to do what he thinks is best to insure Obama's defeat re-election in 2012.

H. Ross Trump is going to give us four more years of Obama, just as surely as his eponym gave us Clinton in 1992.

Could not agree more.

Especially in light of the incredible group of brain-dead, old, former loser, no new ideas, too much baggage rino/repub/conserv/typarty potential candidates that are "thinking" about running.

There are some potential candidates with whom I mostly agree, but who are unelectable.

But now...very glad to have the Trumpster beating the drum and scaring the hell out of both the left and right.

Are you OK with Trump’s position on eminent domain abuse?

I’m pleased to see at least one person on this thread actually watched the interview. Trump is attcking Obama; with extreme effect. That is a GREAT thing.

Could Trump be full of crap? Sure. But he’s fighting the good fight now. Yes, I’m 100% for Palin. If Trump opposes her and she can’t defeat him, then she doesn’t deserve the office.

TV Trump is about like TV McCain.

Neither really want[ed] to be president, because that cuts into their TV face time. They want to be celebrities.

Being president would, basically, isolate them. [See BO’s recent complaint and his explanation of why he golfs so often.]

Trump is making noise because it is getting him TV face time. He likes that, just like McCain likes being on the news/newstalk programs.

I doubt Trump really wants to be ‘confined’ by the presidency.

I guess I'm being naive, but couldn't the DEMS also have a
candidate that runs as an independent.

I think maybe Michael Moore could run against Obama; maybe Hillary; maybe Al Gore.

Interesting that we don't think out of the box.

First, I go around the country trying to tell Tea Partiers why a third party would be disastrous.

But I don't understand if it's ok for the Tea Party to purge the RINOS and in essence become a third party, why wouldn't it be ok for Trump to do the same thing? I suspect it's because a LOT of people around here know that he is saying a lot of very popular things and that he apparently is one of the only major candidates willing to address the BC issue.

In other words, Trump would actually pull conservatives from the GOP. The question is, why? What is his message that the GOP isn't getting?

So if you don't get behind the BC issue you're a RINO? That's how we define conservatives these days? It blows my mind how many Freepers are making excuses for The Donald just because he's on TV screaming about Obama's birth certificate. What will you all say when Obama gets re-elected because of this egotistical SOB.

Trump's drumbeat is:
PAY ATTENTION TO ME!
PAY ATTENTION TO ME!
PAY ATTENTION TO ME!
PAY ATTENTION TO ME!

As opposed to say....the stain??? To SP??? To all the other potential candidates??

Can you name a SUCCESSFUL politician or public figure trying to sell themselves who does not scream your epithet (or a variation thereof) loud and long?

And...to date...I believe the Trumpster has "banged the drum" about the failures of the stain's administration and foreign birth....not about himself.

It's fine if you don't like him, but don't accuse him of something that all politicians, salesmen, and religious leaders do as well!
