Yes, I heard the whole thing and was just waiting for a thread to appear on it. I really liked Ann for a long time, but am getting disenchanted lately.
She went on and on about how all major conservatives and like publications don’t bring the BC issue up because they “all” know it’s untrue, or have seen the BC, or some such drivel. And she kept saying the COLB is the SAME as a real (or long form) BC and is accepted for all purposes. She’s just plain wrong, but is so authoritative about it. (I hope all the derision only galvanizes Trump’s intent to run.)
And her continuing fixation on Chris Christie? Can’t believe she has no problem whatsoever with his apparent embrace of Islam, the Ground Zero Mosque, and appointing a Muslim judge. And THEN she ends with the childish remark that if CC doesn’t run (for prez), well, he’s a jerk.
Has the real Ann been kidnapped and replaced with an alien pod person or what???
On top of all that she starts ripping into the internet where all those conspiracies are promoted. How many books has she written that came out of internet investigations? It was just maddening for her to basically be laughing at her fans.

In the end, none of that is actually relevant to the "birther" issue -- in terms of what it *means* politically (and any political analyst should pick up on this fact) --- because the "birther" issue is about so much more than a birth certificate. It's even more than about whether Obama is a natural-born citizen.
The "birther" issue is the tagline for a huge, and deep and pervasive, skepticism about this President IN GENERAL. If Obama didn't have one million other things about him that were so non-American --- including the fact that he doesn't THINK like an American AT ALL --- the "birther" issue would have never gone on and on as it has.
For a political analyst, such as Ann Coulter, to sit there and jawbone about a birth certificate --- and never understand that the POLITICAL SIGNIFICANCE of the "birther" issue is so much more than whether a birth certificate is the same thing as a certificate of live birth --- is just malpractice and inexcusable.
What these people need to be looking at is WHY such a supposedly wacky issue has taken root and won't die? Only then can they offer an opinion as to whether the "birther" issue (again, which is simply a proxy for distrusting this president all the way around) is a political loser or not.
Why can't Ann simply say the "birther" issue, for one thing (i.e., regardless of the merits) is a powerful expression of a powerful distrust of this man and the process that elected him?
