What's with Ann Coulter??
vanity | 4/11/11 | bray

What has happened to Queen Ann? She was on Hannity and rips into Trump about the Birther issue that she says has been proved beyond any doubt. Claims the Cirt of Live Birth is the same as BC and basically calls him a kook. Why not at least support him in the slightest?

Then she states the big money donors are holding their funds waiting for Christie to run and if he doesn't then they will give it to Romney. What big donor is hoping Christie would run and win? Does she have any idea where he is polling 1%?

Then she doesn't give the time of day to Palin or Bachmann. Just not getting what she sees?

“who do you suppose has the best investigative team, salon, politifacts, Coulter or Trump? “

I listened MYSELF to the whole 15 minutes of interview that McRae had with Obama’s granmother, and it is absolutely clear that Obama’s grandma and translator were CORRECTING McRae’s erroneous implication and were repeatedly saying “Obama was born in hawaii” - they said it 5 times.

How can anyone take that and make claims that ‘obama’s grandma says he was born in Kenya’. I urge you to listen to the full 15 minutes of transcript and open your ears and eyes to the truth. Trump is wrong. He’s repeating a falsehood.

And your buildup of his many talents suggest he’s repeating the falsehood deliberately since he’s so smart.

Trump can buy the truth BUT HE IS NOT INTERESTED IN THE TRUTH. This is all about TRUMP! and he’s making waves and getting attention in his run for office. Why? to get support of course! You are being played. learning the truth about Trump’s birther hucksterism will set you free.

Similar names, entirely different documents.

At birth, the document generated contains detailed particulars, including the hospital, whether there are siblings, the mother’s place of residence, occupations - and the location of the parents’ births. If Barry’s father is named as Barack Obama, HIS birthplace is shown, ie, Kenya. That information on a legal document would be proof that Barry was not eligible to be president, and therefore is a usurper. This document is the CertifiCATE of Live Birth. It is also known as the “long form”, and the “vault” certificate. It’s what most people are familiar with as far as their own birth certificates look like: a “negative”-appearing photocopy: black, with white lettering and writing. The copy we have is certified with an embossed “raised seal”, and is signed by a [usually] registrar.

The OTHER type of document issued by Hawaii is called a “COLB”, short for CertificaTION of Live Birth. The COLB contains minimal data: baby’s name, parent’s names, parent’s race[s], baby’s weight, birth date. Until VERY recently, Hawaii issued COLBs to literally anyone who wanted one. All one had to do, basically, was say they had been born in Hawaii, and bingo! There it is. Japan’s Sun Yat Sen had a Hawaiian COLB. The COLB does not list the birth hospital, nor does it state the parents’ birth locations. A Hawaiian COLB does nothing more than say the person named was born.

The Hawaiian CertificaTION of Live Birth, the COLB, is a computer-generated abbreviation of the Certificate of Live Birth. It has a green and white pattern background. It is issued by the State, but is very easily counterfeited on any personal computer - which is what Obama’s minions did in an attempt to end the demands for him to produce his birth certificate. The discovery of the fakery of that COLB is what necessitated Obama’s campaign of ridicule and vilification of the plain ordinary people who had done nothing more sinister than ask to see documented proof of his eligibility. To deflect curiosity away from his status, “birthers” was created by the Obama-loving lemmings, and all politicians, jurists, etc, who looked the other way rather than challenge the legitimacy of the black candidate who rode into town on his flowery communist unicorn.

Sarah Palin Thinks The Obama Birther Question Is “Distracting” and “Annoying”

“When asked if she questions Barack Obama’s faith and citizenship, Palin says, decidedly, “I don’t.” “

I noticed that Harriet Miers was mentioned.........

Between Bush 43 declaring that Miers was his choice and would stay his choice, and, Coulter consistently lambasting said choice.........the demonrats and their buddy Specter started out on their knees begging for a better candidate........and ended standing on the tables, shaking their fists and demanding somebody ("anybody" was on the tip of their tongues, but they just couldn't bring themselves to say it) qualified to be the next Supreme Court justice......

Bush smiled and gave them conservative Alito............Coulter smiled, too.

Now, Ann..........she does so much in such a sly way........I thinking that she is waiting for the right time to say, "You know, I really didn't have much faith in the Birth Certificate thingy, but now, boy, it looks to be a very serious problem for Obama"......Mucho Gravitaso shifto.........

That's just my opinion..........

The what and why of Trump is irrelevant to political meaning of the still-going-strong “birther” movement.

I disagree that it’s as simplistic as “people believe false things.”

That may be true, but WHY they believe false things is very important — ESPECIALLY in the political realm.

That’s my point.

I think the most important thing is that Trump, the candidate WOULD have standing before the courts, to bring up Obama’s past and the issue of natural born citizenship.

Had to go grab my charger — here’s the rest of my response to your post:

The fact that the philosophical underpinnings of Communism are false — or that pop culture notions of Communism are false — or whatever does absolutely nothing to blunt the political meaning/import of a large percentage of people holding or being sympathetic to Communist beliefs.

Whether or not the fundamentals of the “birther” movement are false does absolutely nothing to blunt the political meaning/import of a large percentage of people holding or being sympathetic to the belief that there is something that cannot be trusted about this President.

If that deep sense of distrust, of the man and the process exposed by questions about the man, is labeled “birtherism,” fine.

But claiming it’s about a mere birth certificate is not accurate.

I’m not a particular fan of Ann or Trump.

On other point :) —

When you say Trump is just playing the birther crowd, that would be true only IF he genuinely has no interest in the birther issue or affirmatively knows it has been debunked. Otherwise, he is doing what politicians do -— emphasize issues that are resonating with the people he wants to vote for him.

You can be sure that had any other pol thought he could get away with it (not pay a political price), he (or she) also would have tapping into the birther crowd.

I think the real story here is not that Trump is playing the birther crowd, as you suggest, but that he’s showing signs of being able to peel off enough conservatives/GOPers to insure Obama’s re-election -— not so much because they believe the birther issue has merit, but because they are sick and tired of people telling them that there are things about which they may not question or criticize the POTUS on.

Trump isn’t using this to reach the birther crowd — he knows as well as you do that his background will turn off many conservatives. He’s using it to reach what he thinks of as the “plain speaking” crowd — as in, why the hell can’t I ask the President any question I please, if I have a concern about him?

That’s WAY more than the birther crowd, my friend.

I agree that we all have our own opinions, and I like it that way. However, whenever I see or hear of a “Conservative” trash others who want to know about the citizenship issue, my radar goes up instantly.

In my book, a real Conservative cares about our Constitution in a passionate way. Since we have our own opinions, I tend to think that if a person DOESN’T care about the citizenship issue, they probably aren’t Conservative, whatever they may claim.

That’s my two cents...

It’s Obama’s socialism not his brithplace that is the real problem.

In some ways, it's Obama's socialism that has fed the birtherism.

Both issues are about things that are very foreign to the idea of America.

“Trust someone has sent all this to the Trump Team who is working on this?”

A screen shot of this whole second page (of the thread) needs to be sent to him and/or his people! Since DT has the big microphone, he still needs much education (such as this) on the issue to arm himself with. It appears that only someone of his magnitude can force the issue with the right proof. It seems the media, courts, etc., just won’t listen to any “ordinary person”. Shame on all of them. Are there no patriots at all within their ranks???

nor do they have a clue about the *process* meaning of the “birther” issue....

Counselor, neither do I!
Part "A" ... that he's possibly ineligible should be a "gimme." What all these lawyers serving as talking heads should be discussing is part "B" ...if he is ineligible, what is that "process" you mention.

IOW, "Hey, it really looks as if this guy might be ineligible. WTF happens now?" They might also well discuss why no black-robed bum-kisser seems to have the power or the will to order discovery.
Why is this a forbidden topic?

Back in the Founders' day. it was more or less taken for granted that everyone knew what a "Natural Born Citizen" was, and that no half-caste foreign SOB would dare try and scam the American voter. Of course, at the time, an American voter was a property owning, poll tax-paying male citizen who had to pass a literacy test in English. And just in case Donna Brazile is around, that included African-American male citizens who paid their poll-tax, owned property, and had passed a literacy test in English. Either way, they were a lot harder to scam than the dumbed down clapsaddles that pass for voters nowadays. The need for "process," just wasn't there.

Sure is now. Zeitgeist und sitz im leben auch!

“OK, I’m going to have to humiliate myself and confess that I don’t know who “Slick Willard” is??”

Probably a variation on when Bill Clinton was called Slick Willie. In this case, the poster was referring to Chris Christie. (Also, there was a movie years ago about a rat called Willard. And don’t forget Willard Scott, the morning tv personality who’s a rather portly man.)

Hey, a speaker I once heard said the only stupid question is the one you don’t ask, i.e. there are no stupid questions :-))))))

She's absolutely right and not afraid to rub his nose in it. Good for her!

Why not at least support him in the slightest?

Because he's poison. He gave $24,750 to Charlie Rangel (his biggest contributee), including $10,000 in 2006. He can go to hell.

OK, I’m going to have to humiliate myself and confess that I don’t know who “Slick Willard” is??

He's pictured below (he's the one sitting down).

He's slick because he aspires to slickness, although, unfortunately for him, he lacks the skill of the true master, Slick Willie, of Arkansas, Washington, and New York. He's Willard because he's a preternatural rat, even though he has an R after his name.

And because he invented Form MA 1099-HC, which I need to submit shortly. On the good side, that form is why he won't be president. On the bad side, if the GOP is really stupid, it's why Zero will get a second term.

I don't like politicians who make work for me.

The lawyers who are talking-heads and have gone mute have been placed on ‘retainer’ by the Kenyan Usurper.

Nixon: I want Hunt paid.

Ehrlichman: We’ve never done that before, Sir, and what are we paying him for?

Nixon: Silence.

“Drudge got the boot quickly from Fox cause he is antiabortion.”

Well, Hannity is a devout Catholic who’s vocal on being pro-life, and he, along with even O’Reilly (another Catholic), have both covered the Planned Parenthood sting. Laura Ingraham, a great conservative, is another devout Christian who’s an outspoken Fox contributor.

I just think on the BC issue, since it’s technically still “speculation” for now, they all (on FNC) are trying to appear neutral. And I don’t even mind that, as long as they don’t disparage or ridicule any “birthers”. I didn’t like it when BOR got into it with Trump, but notice that most of the others, while appearing neutral, say a lot (IMO) by their not arguing about it or voicing an opinion publicly. I think most of the FNC folks side with Trump in reality.
