Trump/Palin 2012 a Dream Ticket?
RightWire ^ | April 10, 2011 | PG

Trump/Palin 2012. I know it's a longshot, but it's still a pretty enticing picture for conservatives. Well, at least for this conservative. And people are starting to talk about it... even here in NYC. Trump's set a fire on Obama's eligibility that seems to be licking at the seeming invincibility of Obama in a year where many have been concerned that there is no "star" in the GOP. So what's the upside for a Trump/Palin ticket in 2012?

Here are a few thoughts:

1. I've been a big fan of Sarah Palin ever since she stepped into the national spotlight. I've never seen a politician have to deal with the kind of routine character assassination and ridiculously slanted coverage that she's had to. Despite the class and strength she's shown through it all, the sad fact is that she's become the #1 butt of jokes made by the proudly ignorant people who get their news from the likes of Jon Stewart and Bill Maher. My vote is hers to lose in 2102. should she choose to run, but let's be realistic- it's an uphill climb with such an (inaccurately) negative perception of her in the American psyche.

2. Trump, on the other hand, has been a media darling for about two decades. I've never really had much of a sense as to WHO he really is, aside from the media message that he's a great manager, visionary business leader, and resilient risk-taker. I've had no idea where he stands on social issues, and, despite his candid way of speaking, I've always had a sense that he was somewhere to the left of me politically. Maybe a good deal to the left. He's fearless and honest, but, let's face it - it's an uphill climb for a guy on his third...

i think PRyan would be great for the cabinet in a Palin/West administration. he'd definitely be a force to help steer the country back to economic stability (maybe we could get an actual accounting of ft knox after all)

although a rookie in the world of -civilian- politics, LtCol West has been a proven leader of men... and with the world situation as it is, his experience would be invaluable.

that said, Sarah has shown her stripes in office and out. how many others would be able to withstand the blistering political heat the left has thrown at her and her family... and still come out on top? with only a laptop and twitter, she wipes the floor with the left and has been disrupting the progressive agenda 140 characters at a time.

i think she'd be great in the top seat... and a great guiding light for VP West, after her 8 years are up.

therefore, at this point, i'm pushing for:

--------------
 PALIN / WEST
--------------

1. I've been a big fan of Sarah Palin ever since she stepped into the national spotlight.

1. You are a Hillary shill who is helping Trump triangulate the Pubs against themselves like Perot did for her in the past, as well as trying to attach that ridiculously pompous windbag to Palin in order to sabotage her political stature.

2. ...should [Palin] choose to run ... let's be realistic- it's an uphill climb...

2. Tring to help Hillary's political ambitions at this point is like climbing onto the Titanic as the last rowboat pulls away and the bow starts to rise.

MSM: Obama was born in Hawaii! Palin I THINK Obama was born in Hawaii! And the birth announcement were in the papers!

On this issue not much difference, PATHETIC.

As much as I appreciate the Don speaking his mind and bringing more attention to this critically important issue, I don't think he is batting for the Conservative team. More likely he is blazing a trail for another Democrat competing with Obama. So ... enjoy the show ... but watch for an error in his judgment toward the end of the run that will be an embarrassment to the GOP'ers he's convinced to support him. That will splinter the GOP vote while at the same time leaving the Democrat candidate of his choice unblemished and standing alone in the field. Caution, my FRiends. Here, there be dragons.

More like Palin/Trump would be better. The protection Sarah would need would be , if she got shot it would be Trump. Trump would be her best insurance just like Cheney was insurance for Bush. If some idiot shot Bush, I can just see the cut wrists and overdoses from the left when Cheney took the oath. I would have to change my name from chuckles to chortles.

So he’s Chris Christie without the weight problem? Except that Chistie is pro-Mosque. I doubt if Donald is.

Hmmmmm...

This is a tricky one. No obvious humor, satire or sarcasm and you seem quite serious - yet your main premise is simply bat-crap insane.

Ok, I can’t tell. I’m not sure if you are trolling, drunk, suffering a brain-injury, a Dem-Mole or just a garden-variety idiot. It’s *very* hard to determine which; however, well done, either way!

Having accepted the second spot to a boob like McCain, I don’t see Palin doing the same for a clown like Trump.
