Trump/Palin 2012. I know it's a longshot, but it's still a pretty enticing picture for conservatives. Well, at least for this conservative. And people are starting to talk about it... even here in NYC. Trump's set a fire on Obama's eligibility that seems to be licking at the seeming invincibility of Obama in a year where many have been concerned that there is no "star" in the GOP. So what's the upside for a Trump/Palin ticket in 2012?
Here are a few thoughts:
1. I've been a big fan of Sarah Palin ever since she stepped into the national spotlight. I've never seen a politician have to deal with the kind of routine character assassination and ridiculously slanted coverage that she's had to. Despite the class and strength she's shown through it all, the sad fact is that she's become the #1 butt of jokes made by the proudly ignorant people who get their news from the likes of Jon Stewart and Bill Maher. My vote is hers to lose in 2102. should she choose to run, but let's be realistic- it's an uphill climb with such an (inaccurately) negative perception of her in the American psyche.
2. Trump, on the other hand, has been a media darling for about two decades. I've never really had much of a sense as to WHO he really is, aside from the media message that he's a great manager, visionary business leader, and resilient risk-taker. I've had no idea where he stands on social issues, and, despite his candid way of speaking, I've always had a sense that he was somewhere to the left of me politically. Maybe a good deal to the left. He's fearless and honest, but, let's face it - it's an uphill climb for a guy on his third...

Oh! Come on. I'm in this to beat that Big Eared prick. Swallow a little (R) crapola & let this guy get us back on track - if that is possible.

He’s “pro-life” but respects “womens’ right to make their own choices.” Supports the 2nd Amend. but opposes `assault weapons’. Is against poverty and war, etc.
On one hand he’s flexible, on the other hand, he’s firm; he’s a New York City Republican.
Trump’s another Rudy Giuliani, swimming in the liberal cesspool.
Why is it that so many people think Sarah Palin would simply accept the second spot on the ticket two elections in a row? The thought is frankly ridiculous.
If she runs, she’s all-in. Anyone with a degree of common sense should be able to see that.
*shakes head* *sighs deeply* *walks away*
Anything with Trump is a nightmare ticket!
.
Palin is our candidate, but the ticket will have to be balanced geographically.
LOL!
Obviously you see bankruptcy as “on track.”
Palin/Bachman.
Those women have more conservative balls than any two male pubbies.
As I’ve posted before, Trump/Bachmann.
i'm pushing for:
-------------- PALIN / WEST --------------
If he wants me, he is going to have to convince me that he is Conservative, starting at the IOWA GOP debate.
Trump is a non-starter, more skeletons than a morgue.
“Dream Ticket? Hope not... There is much better.”
You nailed it, brother! Neither one of these could work effectively with the other, and I’m confident that both of them know this.

I like that choice, at this point in time.
Countdown until Obama leaves Office: 649 days as of April 11, 2011.
Everything is on the table here. There is nothing worse for America than this embittered, racist cipher returning to office for four more years.
Ready, Fire, Aim, Barry: ''Let me be clear, as clear as mud; there are no reports of Trump being on to me for being a fraud and a cipher. I've never hoodwinked anyone. Trump should stop and think about how this is making him look. Please go back to your hotels and casinos and just relax a little. I'll tell you when the jig is up.''
How about some of this:
Time to step up Republicans and hammer this jackwagon president and his administration.
Palin/West? I like that, too!
Bet that ticket hasn't been proffered here before.
Damn, that would be a great ticket! I would only wonder if the rest of America would support it. Well, we can hope...
