Legendary actor-comedian Bill Cosby said that Donald Trump is full of it when it comes to his potential bid for the White House, telling TODAYs Meredith Vieira Thursday that Trump should run or shut up.
Cosby was passionately talking about his work helping to further education in downtrodden urban neighborhoods, but he worked himself into a lather when Vieira asked him about Trump, who appeared in an earlier show segment.
Vieira mentioned her lengthy, pretaped interview with the business mogul in which he talked about the possibility of his running for president in 2012. Funnyman Cosby grimaced and said, Oh, please, with Donald Trump, take him home with you!
Why do you say that? Vieira asked. Cosby responded, Because hes full of it, then sat silent with a chagrined look on his face for several seconds.
While Vieira pressed him on what prompted his attitude toward Trump, Cosby said that he is tired of Trumps will he or won't he? waffling about throwing his hat in the ring for the nations highest office. You run or shut up, Cosby said.
Trump has said that he is waiting until the end of his show, The Celebrity Apprentice, before he makes an official announcement about running. To abide by election law, if Trump were to make a formal move toward running for office, NBC would have to end his show.
Vieira pointed this out and noted that none of the contenders expected to run against President Barack Obama has officially announced. Cosby responded, You can run. Please, anybody can run, then compared Trump to Pat Paulsen, the comedian who announced his 1972 bid for presidency on The Smothers Brothers comedy-variety show.....

Bill Cosby is def. one of the good guys. He puts the inner city thugs right in their places. I wonder why he is supporting Zero...
Cosby is a typical “battered wife” liberal. He was destroyed in the past for getting a little too critical of the liberal status quo regarding black father’s irresponsibility and such but where else is he going to go?
Who is Bill Cosby? Never herd of the guy.
I don't like that he supports Obama, but that statement could not be more wrong.
I take that back, you are right about Whoopie.
Read the rest of the article, it’s right there...
Bill Cosby is defending Mushmouth Obama.....
How disappointing! I thought Cosby was smarter than that! He has always seemed interested in projecting and demanding a decent moral character in himself and others. I guess he has decided that: “He will stand with the Muslim (Brother) should the political winds shift in an ugly direction.”
It’s just coming out of Bill.
They can’t help it,
You can take the black man out of the ghetto , but you can’t take the ghetto out of the black man.
Now flame me all of you who were fooled by Cosby.
............................................................
The country is completely falling apart and Obama maintains an 84% approval rating among blacks....
............................................................
What does that tell you?
Colin Powell went for Obama, and I would bet 50 bucks Condaleesa Rice did too.
I've never been a huge fan of Trump, but I encourage you to watch the MSNBC Interview and then think about whether you would really stay home if it were Trump v. Obummer.
I kind of enjoy watching the liberals heads explode when Trump mentions Obama’s BC.
Speaking of funny comedies, my absolute favorite is Big Bang Theory. Four nerdy college phd types and a pretty next door neighbor girl. Love it.
Bill been cranky since he had to stop druging young women.
You don’t know his history then. He has been a lib for a very long time. He does speak about responsibility to his fellow brothers but that is it. Everything else about him politically firmly puts him in the left lane. He has never supported a conservative black as far as I know and expecting him to support Cain is a pipe dream. I would love you to correct me if I am in error. Cosby was one of the great comedians of my lifetime. I saw him live in the 1970s and he was as funny as anyone I have ever seen.
Date rape drug BillCosby.

A win win situation.
Cosby reminds me of Bill Russell. The older they get the more irrelevant they are and the sourer they become.
My dad went to school with him at Temple University. Smart guy who speaks his mind. Occasional gaffe or woman issue, but hey, he’s human. My dad had very high standards. Fame had nothing to do with his opinions of Cosby.
