Because I live paycheck to paycheck. I save up money to donate to FR for each quarter.
I certainly do not want to promise something I may not be able to give.
I have the same problem, what with paying for college and only having a part-time job. I can’t afford to give monthly either, though I do give for Freepathons. :-)
