The Seven Principles serve as the foundation of Kwanzaa. They are: unity, self determination, collective work and responsibility, cooperative economics, purpose, creativity and faith. Collective work? Cooperative economics? Sounds pretty socialistic.

Other than the media and government institutions such as the Post Office, I don’t know of anyone who actually celebrates Kwanzaa.

granfalloon - a false karass; i.e., a group of people who imagine they have a connection that does not really exist. An example is "Hoosiers"; Hoosiers are people from Indiana, and Hoosiers have no true spiritual destiny in common, so really share little more than a name.

Kwanzaa is Marxism in blackface. It’s about as African as a minstrel show.

I know a lot of black families, some of them even into the whole Africa thing, and I don’t think one of them celebrates Kwanzaa. Of course, a rational person who is into the Africa thing might celebrate something African, not something invented in the US in the 60s.
I saw a school thing a while back, where Christmas was described as the “American” holiday and Kwanzaa as the “African” holiday. How wrong could they be, when Christmas is European and Kwanzaa is American?

Jesus once said, “Render therefore unto Caesar the things which are Caesar’s”. Which Bokonon paraphrased, “Pay no attention to Caesar. Caesar doesn’t have the slightest idea what’s really going on.”

President Obama and the first lady sent out Kwanzaa greetings Sunday on the first day of the seven-day celebration.
“Michelle and I extend our warmest thoughts and wishes to all those who are celebrating Kwanzaa this holiday season,” Obama said in a statement.

An accurate and truthful survey of those who go through the multi day Kwanzaa observance would probably prove it to be promoted more by white liberals than black people.

10% of the population celebrates Kwanzaa? That means 30 million of our nations 41 million blacks celebrate Kwanzaa? It's probably more popular among guilt-ridden, liberal whites than it is among blacks.
