I'll go first. What is this aircraft?

Brewster Buffalo?
Yes, but specifically a late-production F2A-3 variant.

Rolls-Royce Thrust Measuring Rig, also known as the Flying Bedstead. Very good! This was an early predecessor of the Harrier jump jet.

This one is of course too easy for you, like the Sikorsky.

I'm assuming that this game is just open response, right?
That's a Fieseler Fi 156 Storch.
To: ccmay
First time I ever saw a Storch, btw, was at the Summer 1983 Denton Texas Airshow ... where one “won” the slow-speed race (by being the last over the finish line without stalling) against two L-4s.

I'm assuming that this game is just open response, right? Sure. I've just pinged AAC on these because he smoked the thread last night. Although you are off to a very fine start this evening.

Ryan FR1 Fireballs. Combined piston engine (up front) and jet (in the back) airframe.

Boy, at first glance it sure looks like a product of Curtis.

You and AAC should quiz each other. I am going to bed. Here is one more that you prbably both know.

Thanks, I’ll take that as a compliment (although it’s almost my bedtime too). That’s a Lockheed AH-56 Cheyenne.
