Governor Palin was not “anointed” by the Presidential candidate, she was chosen to make up for his short comings in reaching the conservatives, just as Reagan chose HW Bush to reach the liberals, you should have picked up on that kind of thing by now.

Palin was chosen by McCain, because he needed someone with the freshness and dynamism to liven up his campaign. She was also chosen precisely because of her strongly conservative credentials (which she earned, stripe by stripe in Alaska).
As to the three points of your question;
1) It'll take more than one US president's term to pay off the US debt. I do expect that under Palin, the size of our national debt will decrease.
2) Sarah has a proven track record of taking a chainsaw to bloated government budgets.
3) She has repeatedly said that the first thing we must do to get a handle of the problem of illegal immigration, is to stop it at our southern border.
