No, sorry, it wasn’t a shot at you. Really not a shot at anyone in particular. I just wanted to get my thoughts out there and your post inspired me to do that.

However, now that you brought it up, haters go both ways. I see a lot of hatred spewing from Palin supporters. That does not serve her well at all. It is possible to defend her and our positions without going into “attack mode”. Emulate Sarah.

Sneer is an apt word to describe the answer Babs gave to the old dinosaur's question. Up to today I liked Mrs. Bush just fine... but she was just plain ugly in not just what she said about Sarah but sounded like that Parker woman CNN has partnered with Spritzer. Babs said Sarah was 'pretty', and she (babs) had sat beside Sarah but Sarah should stay in Alaska... as if Alaska was another nation. There was nothing about it that depicted anything negative or critical about Sarah, but rather exposed a belittling old woman because she could.

As for Sarah having a thick skin, are you saying she has no feelings? She told us just the other day that it frustrates her terribly the way people have lied about her entire record.

At any rate, we all know what the people here are up to that look for threads to say negative, unkind things about Sarah.

And while you personally did not say anything unkind about Sarah, why in the world would you want to be seen coming to the rescue of this very anti Sarah poster? That`s my question?

I don't know who made the "Sarah is classy" comment, but I don't think is was Barbara Bush.

This was at the Tea Party Express rally in Reno, NV last week (Go Sharron Angle!). The lady in the cowboy hat with the sweet smile is my wife Sheila. And that’s Syncro’s left eyeball in the upper left as he focuses his video camera.

Sarah was introduced to me by Sal Russo (leader of the Tea Party Express) who introduced me as Jim Robinson from freerepublic.com. She said thank you for all you guys have done, then leaned forward and gave me a little cheek to cheek hug. I took it as she loves the FReepers and pass it on to all of you!!

Woo hoo!! FR is Palin Country!!

On a personal level, Barbara IS a good lady, LJ. But my problem is that she takes a shot at Palin in a way she never would at the Obamas or Clintons. I think that she’d vote for Obama over Sarah, and that’s just stupid, and dangerous. Bob

It appears that way. I have been a member a very long time and I noticed how angry it has been getting.

That may be, but for every person who post something you deem negative there are 10 other ppl who say nothing. Such as me. And yes, I am a Palinista and I get so friggin' disgusted hearing the same trash talking crap day in day out against Palin that I get quite tired of it.

My response, I don't reply and just skip those posts or notice who they are from and ignore posts from them at other times. Others? Have other ways to deal with it.

And if you have been here as long as you say, you would have noticed that Palin gets trashed here day in day out in every post or every instance she is mentioned. The vitriol is out of control and it is no wonder that those who support her hit their breaking point.

No, I don’t consider a comment to stay in Alaska as harsh. That’s my point. It isn’t worth getting bent out of shape over and it was said by an 80yr old woman who has a history of being quite blunt. And it is HER opinion.

I don’t say anything unkind about Sarah Palin because I support her 100%. In my opinion, the boorish behavior of some others of her supporters are not helpful to her cause. My goal is to help Sarah and to convince others to join.
