Remember when the head of the Bergen County Education Association put out an email praying for the death of Chris Christie? Well after that email was sent out, the President of the Teachers Union offered an official apology and called the Governor’s office to apologize. At that point Christie says that instead of taking the call, he decided to invite her to the Governor’s office for a face to face apology. And that’s when it gets really awesome:

Another classic. I like when he says “you would have been too late because I already would have fired him.” Great storyteller. Awesome story with some intense moments and with plenty of laughs. The bit at the end is a riot.

best governor in America

I'm in NJ and I agree! Makes me get a lump in my throat. It's been a long time coming. Enjoying the hell out of it. It was the best of times, it was the worst of times.

You’re correct on which interview the question of “The Bush Doctrine” came up. I don’t remember the guy’s name but he had the snottiest, condescending attitude toward a VP candidate I had ever witnessed.
From what I know of “The Bush Doctrine”, I don’t think it was anything more than a catch phrase dreamed up by the “news”people to define the administration’s approach to national security and foreign policy. I don’t remember the Bush Administration ever formally introducing a policy statement that was referred to as “The Bush Doctrine”. Am I wrong on this?

Thanks so much for posting! Christie is such a breath of fresh air...bold, plain-spoken, won’t accept the dishonorable double-standards of the left. He is a great leader.

Governor Christie demonstrates how to deal with the luny left.

Exactly. Just stand up to the paper tigers. What politicians really fear is the media. But they seem to be cowering too. Maybe they're afraid he's going to turn on them.

What is his stance on the Second Amendment?

His stance on the Second Amendment sucks. It needs to "evolve" and I think it will. You can't believe in limited government and then take away the last bulwark against tyrannical government.

His position on almost everything else is rock solid.

I don’t normally look at videos. They are a waste of time for getting information that can be ingested far faster from the printed word. I’m glad I watched this one. Christie has what it takes in front of a camera. The right has very few of those, partly because the camera and MSM in general is normally hostile to Conservatives. Reagan is the other one who could do that.

Where did you read in my post “Palin does not know Bush doctrine”?

Or is yours a Freudian slip?

My point is Christy will not be easy to be tripped on geo-political issues.

I totally agree about vids being too slow to get info. Worse, most are poorly made and extemporaneous speaking is generally terrible.

But this one is exceptional. Christie is a tremendous story teller and really engages the audience with his words, pauses, cadence and gestures. That is what it takes to be a great communicator.

Basically Bush Doctrine is to be PROACTIVE and not REACTIVE to terror threats.

And I am betting my last dollar Christy knows what Bush doctrine is, even though he has not served in a national office.

You didn't mean to imply something with the above?

O.K., then, I was mistaken.

Without going into lot of mumbo jumbo like Wiki likes to do, Bush doctrine to me is not complicated at all. The crux of it is that we must be proactive in fighting terrorism and not reactive.

If a country is a hot bed for terror training camps, we must attack them before a successful attack occurs.
