On September 20, 2010 Rasmussen released a poll of 1000 LIKELY VOTERS that showed Sarah Palin's F/UF at 48/49.
Well today in a poll of 1501 ADULTS, including 846 LIKELY VOTERS by AP-GfK Sarah Palin's F/UF were found to be 49/50. (Obama's F/UF 52/48).
Don't let anybody tell you that Palin is UNELECTABLE. Among LIKELY VOTERS she is now almost as popular as Obama.
Reagan was down by 25% to Carter with 8 months left to go in the election in 1980.
There's no way to challenge a starry-eyed opinion, which is all you've given. Other than to laugh at it, I mean -- which apparently you can't take.
What is with this childish personal business pinging me over and over to nothing but childish insults, what is going on with you?
Have you gone off the deep end so much that this is the total level of your political involvement here at freerepublic, nothing but childish trolling in the form of personal attacks at freepers?
There really is no comparison with the Nixon Laugh In thing. That was a 30 second “sock it to me” byte.
I don’t have a problem with the Bristol DWTS thing. Some do. Sometimes it is best not to try to justify things.
I posted this on another thread, the show seems very positive, and it reaches Bristol’s key audience for her pro-life, pro-abstinence speeches, and activities.
I like the demo that they are reaching, and it seems to be increasing the likability of both mother and daughter with that demographic. Some of that demo will follow Governor Palin to her 8 part Alaska documentary, and that should be another big likability boost, not to mention the chance for them to hear some old fashioned American values from a conservative, Republican state.
Dancing with the Stars: The Results Show (9:00-10:00 p.m.)
Building on its lead-in and picking up audience throughout its telecast, ABCs Dancing with the Stars: The Results finished second in its hour among Total Viewers (15.3 million) and Adults 18-49 (3.1/8). The ABC dance competition ranked No. 1 in its slot across all key Women demos (W18-34/W18-49/W25-54). DWTS: The Results held solid advantages over its unscripted competition in the time period, beating The Biggest Loser (7.3 million and 2.7/7) by 8.0 million viewers and by 15% in Adults 18-49.
It's even better to put things like this in their proper perspective, as it relates to the bigger picture. Some can do that, and some obviously can't.
For my part, I'm a strong Palin supporter, but I hardly ever bother to read news about her daughter's activities. I'm likewise dis-interested in the lives of other politicians' offspring.
Every time I hear someone say that Sarah Palin is unelectable, I remind myself that the source of that sort of poison is probably Mitt Romney and his Salt Lake City thugs.
