Sure in most of those cases, fine imo.
But there is nothing wrong with excepting a lenghtly article/opinion piece.
So they get hits to their site, no biggie.
Coulter articles are excerpted, as well as Malkins and many more that don't require it.
Yea, there is usually no problem when full content is posted, but they should have the option to do a lenghtly excerpt.
I noticed some bloggers have done that after constant harrassment, even using HMTL with hot links!
And sometimes they are still called pimps. Not blogpimps, but pimps.

Pimps? I understand the childish uncouth term blogpimp, but a pimp is another creature entirely.
It's someone that...oh never mind, everyone knows what a pimp is.
I have seen some of the pic of the bloggers, and have not seen any dressed like Kramer on Seinfield.
Neither of those excellent writers excerpt their own material
here just in order to get blog hits. Huge difference. Enormous.
So they get hits to their site, no biggie.
If all they have done is embed a video that they had nothing
to do with do they deserve hits? Using us as an advertising platform?
It would be more honest to just post the damn link to the video.
Many use embedded videos as bait, posting a teaser and excerpting.

Goodness. I said ‘usually’ only becuase it is unwise in most cases to speak in absolute terms. I have yet to see a good example of a regular blogger’s thread being hijacked for no good reason....
