Sarah Palin today gave a speech in California and managed to get a few good slams of the liberal elites in DC and California!

Other great lines from her speech:
The midterm election: "Nov. 2 is right around the corner. I can see it from my house!"
Shovel-ready projects: "Now we know what they were shoveling, and it wasn't asphalt."
The Delta smelt, a small fish on the endangered list which has caused cutoff of water to millions of state residents: "Where I come from we call that bait."

My son bauerpauer and I just returned from Sarah’s talk - it was terrific!
She also liked an audience member’s answer of “pixie dust” when she asked how some unfunded mandate would be paid for.
nice tip of her cap to the Giants, too! “Giants baseball: Torture!”

Ah, I see the “pixie dust” reference was captured on tape on the website! :)

I’ve listened to several of Palin’s speech for the past few weeks and the jokes changes. Is OBama still using the same old joke, about the Slirpy

I was about 3 seats away from the fellow who said “pixie dust” and what was funny was that he said it in a normal voice that I heard, but didn’t expect that Sarah would have heard it on stage as we were about 12 rows back. She must have great ears or the acoustics in that hall are near perfect.

We were in the VERY last row! It was cool that when my son and I outside were chatting with Young Aaron and another friend who I didn’t know had attended, Brian Sussman and his assistant came out, said hi, swapped hugs and handshakes and then they wandered off to the KSFO van. A very nice day.
And it was nice to see the five lovely young ladies who sang God Bless America and the national anthem out in the lobby - I hadn’t seen their mom since a homeschool convention a few months back. There were so many people that I recognized from the Conservative Forum, the Campus Liberty Alliance, and the 912 and Tea Party groups - old home week!

(If I can remember my mythology) If it is true that only virgins can have ownership of unicorns, California will not have a run on that.

Her humor reflects her strength to stand against the pundits, and it connects to the average person at a gut level that no other political personality can even start to approach. From this the basis of her leadership springs. Bachmann is a close second, but I haven’t heard that she can deliver truth packets with the humor that Sarah does.

Sarah Palin: The most qualified presidential candiate of 2008 hands down. The rest of them were just mere senators.
To: Josh Painter
Palin: California would need to create more than 4 million jobs over the next 10 years just to keep up. Does anyone seriously think that the liberal policies of Pelosi and Reid and Obama heck a Boxer and a Brown are going to be able to turn this around and get the job done? NO! They act like theyre permanent residents of some unicorn ranch in Fantasy land, if they really think they are going to be able to turn it around with the liberal policies that they want to continue! LOL!

She’ll be at Perspective in Sacramento tomorrow. Should come up with some doozies for that one, too.
