DUmmie FUnnies 08-14-10 (DUmmies Fantasize Winning Big In November)
DUmmie FUnnies ^ | August 14, 2010 | DUmmies and PJ-Comix

So how is that Recovery Summer working out for you, DUmmies? All indications are that the Democrats will LOSE big in November. The prospect of big gains by the EVIL Republicans is so hideous to the DUmmies that they are now fantasizing just the opposite, that the Democrats will be the big winners despite the lousy economy and general disgust with The One. You can see this fantasy for yourself in this DUmmie THREAD, "C'mon DU let's get over it and win both houses with a BIG majority in November." If this fantasy sounds familiar, remember the other DUmmie fantasy in which Al Gore was elected president in the Alternate Universe. In any event, at least half the FUn of this November's election will be to watch the DUmmie reaction...assuming that the site does not crash as it did for several days following the November 2002 election when the Democrats did NOT gain any seats in Congress. So let us now watch the DUmmies fantasize winning big in November in Bolshevik Red while the commentary of your humble correspondent, who came close to being covered in Spaghetti Sauce red this week when he picked up 820 bottles via coupons, is in the [brackets]:

C'mon DU let's get over it and win both houses with a BIG majority in November

[How about if we apply the chloroform-soaked hankie to your nose now so you can wake up on the other side of the November elections? It will be so much less painful that way.]

Like many people I have been frustrated with things not going MY way like single payer healthcare, Gitmo not closing, the extended war in Af. and a slow move out of Iraq etc.

[Don't forget about the economy going even further into the toilet during Recovery Summer.]

However this government HAS made progress and actually has done a lot (although we don't hear about it on television). Many, many things have been passed by Congress to improve the lives of the American. People forget who created the financial crisis and need to be reminded.

[BUSH'S FAULT!!!]

HOWEVER, as long as Democrats left leaning (professional or non professional) or center people splinter and regurgitate RW Newspeak they have to think of the consequences of a huge Republican majority in both houses this fall. Can you imagine what that will mean to this country? None of our agenda will be progressed AT ALL and will be just tossed in a trash can.

[On the plus side, the ensuing mental meltdown in DUmmieland will provide lots of great DUFU comedy material. Now for the fantasies from your fellow DUmmies...]

I did not work hard for a center right prez - but that is what we have. If the Dems want to have majotiry in both houses then perhaps they need to remember who brung 'em and work to pass progressive legislation. Just a thought.

[Getting your excuses lined up already?]

I will donate time and money to candidates who support a progressive agenda. If the Dems lose control of the House or Senate as a result of progressive flight, too bad. Not like they were acting on progressive agendas anyhow. Screw 'em if they can't take a joke!

[So does that mean you won't pick up those artificial cheerleader pom-poms?]

You seem to dismiss the time we had majority of the House, supermajority in the Senate, and the WH. Still... nothing got passed. What more would you expect in the f*cking future?? What we couldn't have is not now in the past.. it is the nature of the party, near as I can tell. Hope pissed on us. I'm going to go wash my clothes, and re-consider what I expect for a vote. Not that it matters... just another peon, literally.

[Hope pissed on you because The One needed someone to "peon."]

nope. I will NOT "hold my nose" and vote dem any longer.

[It would take time away from your keyboard.]

Fending off a GOP majority or even large Republican gains is simply something everyone should be very motivated to work together to stop.

[DUAC! DUAC!]

I love to make Sarah Palin obscure to America, and then maybe put her in jail for some of the things she does and says.

[DUmmie Thought Police fantasizing about criminalizing contrary views.]

I will still get out and vote Democrat myself because returning to Republican rule would be nightmarish.

[You will be FUn to watch on Nov. 3.]

It’s both science and art. My big thing now is how to apply coupons to purchasing casino free play. You can’t lose when you are playing with free money.

I forgot about another tip. Dole fruit coupons...$1 off two cans. Buy two cans of pineapple pieces for 89 cents each so only 39 cents for each can after coupons...BUT WAIT!!! If you have patience and WAIT for a Dole BOGO (which happens a lot) use those coupons and get the pineapple parts for FREE plus you will have 11 cents per can overage. Buy 10 cans and apply the $1.10 overage to other stuff.

You don’t like lobster? I guess no sushi for you.

I wouldn't touch sushi. Lobster? I've had it. There's little taste and I don't enjoy having to crack shells to get to my food. I want my food served straight up, ready to eat.

As I mentioned in an earlier reply, I'm a meat & potatoes guy.

Funny, but my wife and I just yesterday were discussing a vegetarian diet, brought on by the talk on TV about Phil Michelson's Sciatic Rheumatism. My wife has been taking weekly shots for over two years for the same condition, and was yelling at the announcers "You're way over-blowing this, people" every time it came up. But I digress...

It was mentioned that Michelson has gone on a vegetarian diet and that prompted our discussion. She loves meat too much and doesn't see the need for such a change. I agreed, saying she'd be on her own, and my eating my regular diet would likely affect her ability to maintain that diet far more than any positive results she'd achieve.

Anyway, fish and I don't get along except very, very occasionally. I don't even want to go catch them. Too boring for me.

When I read stuff like that, I wonder why secession is thought to be such a bad thing by the left.

It isn't. They started crying about wanting to split up under Bush but the adults wouldnt let it happen.

I can “feel” that it can be done. Now studying how it can actually be one. I need to score free trip (air and hotel) to Vegas PLUS get FREE play. I know it can be done but just a matter of a lot of research. BTW, I might have a couple of months of FREE buffalo wing dinners coming up. I am now stockpiling the coupons to get FREE TGIF buffalo/chicken wings. Unfortunately my refrigerator freezer is only big enough for about 40 dinners. What to do? Simple. Just give about a hundred wing dinners to a friend who has a foot freezer and he will allow me to store maybe a couple of hundred in his freezer. I already know this can be done because I made the arrangements yesterday. Now awaiting a TGIF BOGO deal.

I have been frustrated with things not going MY way like single payer healthcare ...

(Head Banging on Wall) These DUmmies deserve that name. They have NO idea of what 'Single Payer' means or actually entails.

  1. It DOES NOT mean 'healthcare' will be FREE.
  2. It DOES NOT mean 'healthcare' will be paid for, in full, by the Gubmint
  3. It DOES MEAN that is will be similar to Medicare.
  4. And that DOES MEAN that everyone will be getting screwed.
  5. And that means that DUmmies will be committing mass suicide, as they will STILL GET that 'Hugh' Doctor Bill, all thanks to the Gubmint Obama.
As anyone on Social Security, and covered by Medicare knows, that each month you still pay that 'little' FICA tax. Its taken out before you see penny one of your SS check or direct deposit. In effect its just like paying a monthly installment for 'Health Care' Insurance.

And thanks to Obama and his cabal of commieRATS Medicare (CMS) has lowered the amount they will pay a Doctor. Just recently CMS has lowered it to approx 50%. Soooooo, what did the Drs do, simple raised the price of an office visit. And YOU have to pay the OTHER 50%! And I don't blame the Doc's, they have to eat too. And as to covering Pre-Existing Conditions by joining this 'gubmint high risk pool', Ha!! The costs of that will make everyone who takes it to move into a refrigerator box!

So these DUmmies should thank their lucky stars they DON'T HAVE ' single payer (gubmint) insurance. If they think 'health care' is exppensive now, just wait.

Try shooting them. Spearfishing. More fun that way. Anyway, the way to go fishing is on a boat loaded with beer. Most of the day will be just like a party with the benefit of catching fish along the way. Crabbing can be done simply by tying porking rinds to a long string and lower into the water. Then lift and pull off the crabs that are hanging on. Take crabs to boiling pot, toss inside, and in a few minutes you have a crab dinner. We used to do catch crabs by pole nets in Puerto Rico. Then cooked when we came home.

Better idea; a cooler filled with iced beer sitting outside a camper, next to a charcoal grill fired up and grilling 2" ribeyes, fresh corn and homemade baked beans. A dutch oven sitting in the fire pit with coals top & bottom, filled with cherry cobbler for dessert. People sitting around under the canopy telling jokes, playing horseshoes maybe, cigars lit, and dusk coming on.

Of course, the next day would include fresh brats, sauerkraut, German potato salad, more beans, and maybe an apple cobbler this time. Now, that's my kind of fun...

It sounds like you’re into the midwest German food thing. My idea of heaven would be spearfishing/lobstering on Culebra in the Caribbean and dining on lobsters washed down with copious quantities of Medalla. Then wake up to the sounds of roosters crowing as they walk down the main street of the island. Part of our food tastes comes from where we grew up. My first memories were Cleveland but soon moved to Florida and then Puerto Rico where I grew to enjoy a tropical fruit/seafood cuisine. BTW, Puerto Rico has the absolute best cooked pork in the world. Not just my opinion. Andrew Zimmern stated that as well.

Hey PJ, What do you do with the 800 jars of sauce and the 750 stick of deoderant etc once you get them?

Sell them BACK to the store?
Yard sales, E-bay?

Maybe you could donate them to the DUmmie concentration camps once the Nazi Republithugs get back into power.

All indications are that the Democrats will LOSE big in November.

And to help make that happen, Mr. Obamaramadanadingdong has now come out in favor of builidng a Muslim mosque at Ground Zero! How tone-deaf can one man be? Is he trying to drive his--and the Democrats'--approval ratings into negative numbers? Thanx, Barry!
