The New York City Landmarks Commission unanimously voted Tuesday (9 to 0) to deny landmark designation to the site of the proposed mosque near Ground Zero, paving the way for the controversial community center and worship space to rise two blocks from the site of the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks. Video clip from FOXNY. Immediately after the decision the crowd can be heard yelling "Shame on you". God help this country!

time to research everyone involved and their family. it is amazing that this was approved.
So let’s play the same childish game as the liberals, and BOYCOTT NEW YORK CITY, or we could wait until they start digging to see if they encounter another historical ship buried that was used as landfill and declare the property an archeologically historical site, or just let them start to build it and we’ll see how long it takes and how much it costs after all the delays, and if they do finally succeed in building it then we let them fill the damn thing and we’ll help make it go away!
An accurate headline would read:
“Mosque Plans NOT Blocked by Site Landmark Designation”
The issue is the mosque at that location, not the status of the location.
Don’t fight the wrong battles.
Where do they think they are going to get the manpower and materials and equipment to build this damn thing? Will American labor unions really step in and build this for them? Will American building materials suppliers really be willing to supply everything they need to finish this? I say we get the word out to our own people that we’ll be watching how and who will be assisting these people in this massive construction project! LET’S REMIND THEM THIS IS STILL AMERICA! Let’s see what happens to their budget when they have to ship in all the materials and labor necessary!

Muslims get their victory Mosque.
It seems EVERYONE within the Washington beltway is being frighteningly quiet about this whole mess, too! The American country I was born in taught that silence denotes approval! Why am I surprised now that we have a government full of Muslim sympathizers!
If they start to dig and find one bone from a Native American or a slave, the digging stops. If the red-tailed hawk or the snail darter is seen within a five-mile radius, the digging stops. But the last resting place for almost 3000 innocents—no problem!
That was a point Bill Kristol made the other night. Who are they going to get to work on building it.
We will get a chance now to see if there are any patriots left in our country.
Again the will of the normal people is trampled by liberals who hate this country and Western Civilization and love the savages who want to destroy it.

Does anyone know who is bidding on construction? I would think in NY it would be a union shop, maybe they should talk to these guys.
