Killing Arpaio would ratchet up this mess by 100 percent. It’d be like shooting a senator. You could draw up a list of the top twenty state officals...even National Guard...and they’d all become targets.
At that point, the President’s agenda flushes down the tubes in a matter of days. You could forget about immigration reform for a decade at least.

Your Question: "Where the eff is the government?"
Answer: Busy redistributing wealth and consolidating the position of those currently in office.

Not the brightest move by the cartels.I had the same thought. An act like this, coupled with administration inaction, will be the final straw. Arpaio is too well known and liked by common folk for this to be allowed. Big time mistake, IMO. They want war, they can have it (and I'm not just referring to the cartels...).

googling and binging “Assassinate Sheriff Arpaio” produces contemporary hits only on conservativemonster.com and those that reference it.
There was also lots of hits about supposed plots against Arpaio back in 2007, which may have turned out to be hoaxes then (didn’t care to dig into it that much to really find out.)
At this point, I see no credibility to this story.

The Sedition would
love to see Sheriff Joe get blown to Hell and gone. They can't slow him down without risking an armed insurrection, so letting a bunch of tequila-swilling flap hats do it for them just provides an excuse for feigned outrage and diplomatic posturing while furthering the goals of their open border manifesto. After all, there's an entire potential voting bloc of servile sheep to be exploited. Can't let that power base get away over such trifling issues like federal law and national sovereignty, and all that silliness.
"But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: for men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away, for his name is Obama."

We should be offering 50 cents a head for Mexican cartel members, plus a free box of ammo.

The thing that screams bogus to me is the bounty amount. I can't imagine anyone taking that job for less than $10M.
To: Mechanicos
Don’t they mean pesos? Savages.
