Ok, so Arizona is going to have a fight about over illegal immigration with Obama....I say lets do this! Justice Kennedy just announced he's not leaving until Obama does, so lets take this bad boy to the SCOTUS.
In spite of their best efforts to paint those of us who favor SB1070 as racist, an overwhelming majority of the country is with Arizona on this and Obama knows it. So why does he insist on being on the losing end of this issue?
He's trying to distract the country from the fact that 48% of it is ready to throw an "I told you so" parade for the rest of it, whose reasons for voting for this president can't extend beyond monosyllabic bumper stickers.
Political parties always sink or swim on the health of the economy and Barry wants you to forget that, so he's picking on a state where 98% of the country doesn't live and that would never vote for him in 2012 anyway.
Its an easy target....that's all his fragile teleprompter psyche can handle. Obama can't handle the hard stuff, even when the winning choice is clearer than an arm wrestling match between Melissa Etheridge and Harry Reid. (Barney Frank gets the "winner")
Iran want's nukes, pelicans want clean water, Napolitano and Kagan want to be seen together in public and Arizona just wants to freakin' protect its people. Yet, somehow, he thinks staring down Jan Brewer is going to help him.
He expects us to fall for this distraction trap. It's so like a liberal to thinking everyone else thinks like them...
I know one of the perks for Pelosi being speaker is the close calls Biden and this president apparently have...but we voters can walk and chew gum at the same time without almost killing ourselves. So unless Obama is planning a 4 month long tap dance routine on Iran's nukes this cute little attempt at changing the subject isn't going to make the country forget about the fact that his administration is one big word-that-Biden-says-in-front-of-a-hot-mic-on-national-television up.
I've heard a lot of conservative commentators complain that we shouldn't let this lawsuit distract us from the real issues that highlight the country's Biggest LSER's
achievements. If the numbers are telling the story economists believe they're telling, then the bad economy is sticking around for quite some time yet...sitting front row and center, with a bucket of popcorn, and ready for the greatest show on earth that's set to play in November.
Fighting this idiotic lawsuit on behalf of illegal immigrants isn't a distraction, its just the intermission.

Many aspects of our social, and religious-based beliefs and established mores, our basic economic freedoms may possibly induce so much passion on both sides we might end up fighting each other over which path is the most righteous...and we will both claim an absolute moral imperative that we will consider unimpeachable and without doubt the most fundamental cause...the struggle, of course, will be between those that would impose enslavement to a Marxist collective, that see it as an urgent mission that cannot be put off any longer. We have seen the growing cry for socialism in the country brings us to the point where it simply cannot be ignored.
Are the socialists going to have a change of heart and forgo their dream of the REAL, complete and total solution in which they so fervently believe because some of us believe that the REAL path to freedom is to pursue our destiny as a great republic?
I hope this will not amount to anything but a clash between opposing forces of voters, but it seems more and it seems explosive. It is too deep a disagreement, too fundamentally rooted in our belief in a way of life that we each so totally commit to.
Is this simply socialist creep, the push from a small number of old radicals or is it really the rush of the left to finally end of our grand experiment?
Immovable object meets irresistible force. Is this what Americans who lived in the time just before the Civil War felt when the country was rolling off the edge of the cliff?
The only reason the Zer0 Regime does not want to enforce our immigration laws is they want to create a new Democrat voter base. They are dragging their feet to get as much time as possible for greater numbers in their voter base. It is that simple.
Pimping your blog?
I liked the article. Biting commentary.
You beat me to it.That is exactly what I was going to say.

Thanks for the good feedback, I’m glad you liked it :-)
Yeah, I get accused of that by some on here of pimping, I don’t think I am at all...if I wanted to do that I would’ve made the post an excerpt and forced everyone to go to The Looking Spoon to finish it.
I don’t put every post I make on FR...just the ones I think this crowd would like.
This is interesting, I’ve had similar thinking about this...I don’t know if it could happen, but it seems as if this DEEP divide over economic and religious philosophy could result in another civil war.
Its a frightening thought, and not at all a passing or fleeting one...in my opinion.
I agree with this. The main point I was trying to make is picking a fight with Arizona is a loser for him, but its less of a loser than talking about the economy...
Neither problem is going anywhere for him, and if taking on Jan Brewer is supposed to distract us then good luck. The MSM may be on board but the nations unemployed aren’t going to be deterred because O wants to change the subject.
The rift has become more and more charged with accusations on each side of a fundamental denial of freedom and responsibilities. The President tells us that there is something gravely wrong with America, that it is at heart a deeply flawed and mean-spirited country that denies freedom to many of its people. He has told us time and again that there are two disparate Americas, those that have too much and those that have too little, that the rich intentionally hold down and enslave those who have no voice. He claims to be that voice.
The issues that he chooses to amplify and deftly uses to divide us, the political, moral and theological issues, whether or not we “spread the wealth and pursue a socialist agenda to make all men materially equal (regardless of merit or vested interest) or whether we adhere to our original founding as a free republic, has us hurtling towards a dilemma that will soon have to be resolved.
It is, in fact, his repeated and scurrilous attack on this nation, his insistence that we are not split between political poles of left and right, but good and evil, between those like him, who would save the disenfranchised from the slavery that the wealthy imposes and the capitalists who impose that slavery. Through the constant exacerbation of resentment and anger between Wall St. and Main St. and his chronic mandates for taxing the rich to share the wealth to help relieve the suffering of the enslaved, it is clear that he will use any means necessary to divide us.
He has skillfully, purposefully and relentlessly whipped up resentment between the so-called wealthy Republicans and the poorly treated and savagely “enslaved” Democrats, especially the teachers, the press, the unions; government dole and lower income classes he has used to form his hard core shock troops.
I think he might believe it is now time for him to impose his agenda on our nation. Not in the name of progressivism, or socialism, or Marxism or even the Black Liberation Theology that he so wholeheartedly embraced for so many years, but with a proven and generally approved cause; he will free the slaves. And his tortured logic and revisionist history just might work in his favor.
All of the blather about comparisons to Lincoln were NOT idle chatter.
