Helen Thomas, who was caught on video saying the Jews should "get the hell out of Palestine (Israel)" is going to be the speaker at Walt Whitman High School in Bethesda, MD on June 14, 2010.
Thomas also was a speaker at a 2006 fundraiser for the pro-Hamas, pro-Islamofascist terrorist "peace" group Code Pinko.
According to WTOP radio, where I first heard of this speech this afternoon, the principal was "aware" of the controversy but knows of no plan to cancel her speech.

This school’s Jewish students should start protesting TOMORROW!!!!!!!!! Keep the Jew-hating hag out of our schools!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If I had a kid graduating there I would pull them out so fast.....
I would imagine no one there had any illusions about Mrs. Thomas ~ she's been known as an antisemite for many years ~ on the other hand the folks behind the invitation probably wanted her to be the guest speaker at the graduation just to show that not all Jews are like the IDF folks!
Yeah, that utterly stupid!
So “Hamas Helen” gets the first question at every Obama news conference?
These poor kids will need psychiatric help to erase the memory of her from their sight! Nightmares, cold sweats and sleepless nights with the lights on always accompany those who meet this vile wretch.
Since the Principal said there are no plans to cancel her speech, I suggest he grow a spine and MAKE some. At the very least, I hope the parents of every Jewish student graduating keep their kids home.
I hear The Wicked Witch of the Press has “apologized” for her remarks. Big deal. Ask Trent Lott about apologizes, you ugly bag of crap.
oh those poor kids.
oh those poor kids.
Graduated from Whitman in the 90s. There are quite a lot of Jewish students there, but I doubt any of them will care. Every one that I knew was a rabid liberal.
I hope she gets up there and let’s it all hang out.
Give ‘em a real harangue, like Rev. Wright did before the Washington Press club.
She needs to find her way to the underside of the bus, she’s not quite there yet.
LOL! Helen and her views ought to be a real hit in this pricey DC suburb.
I see from National Review this morning that the school has withdrawn the invite. And yes, they do have a lot of Jewish students.
Amazing actually that the school has done this, I’m surprised they didn’t think the students should sit and listen to a woman who despises them in the name of “tolerance” and “diversity”.
