Palin stepped in a pile of crap. Yes...
but please let this go.. posting that picture inflicts extreme pain.. lol
but seriously..
its time to get over who endorses who and let the chips fall where they may..
sarah palin is not perfect.. but shes the best we have.
Stacy Drake needs to STFU.
He may not be the one true Conservative in the race but he is certainly the most conservative in the race and that’s good enough for now.
LOL!
I find the whole “retired reserve” issue to be pointless (a distinction without a difference, in my mind — if you served, you served, as long as you don’t misrepresent what you did *cough* *Blumenthal* *cough*), and the author, despite dismissing it, spent too much time discussing the fact that it wasn’t going to be discussed. Sheesh.
That said, I do find it interesting that the actual bone of contention in this piece is that DeVore took credit for one of Duncan Hunter’s achievements, which Hunter himself has said wasn’t DeVore’s idea. It’s a petty point, but it might point to petty nature.
As for “deserving” an endorsement... no one “deserves” an endorsement from anyone. They have to earn it in the mind of the person doing the endorsing. That’s pretty subjective criteria and can only be answered by the person doing the endorsing.
It seems as though the quitter now has her own attack dogs, held out at arm’s length and with all the proper disclaimers of course....
I have to say that after chemotherapy, Barbara Boxer just isn't that scary anymore.
The best thing Carly could do for the movement would be to step aside and endorse DeVore herself. That would prove her bona fides as a conservative and I’d back her next time out.
We always complain that there aren’t any conservatives out there. This time there is, and his name is Chuck DeVore.
The irony of this coming from the Palin camp is self-evident, so I'll simply post it without comment.
“There are yet more accusations disclosed in the L.A. Times article that have not been dealt with by the DeVore campaign at all. These are the items I chose to discuss because they havent been talked about in the media...”
Well, I don’t think much of the LA Times either, but I’m pretty sure they qualify as “media”.
What an empty attack.
It will be nice when the primary is over and the republican / conservative destructive infighting ends and our energy is focused on the far left radial socialist which boxer.
Ca Republicans have a bigger issue with the Governors race. Neither candidate is very conservative.
This is no better than the LA Times hit piece.
Maybe Carly will do for Californian Republicans what she did for HP.
Carly made two major strategic moves during her tenure as HP CEO. First, she spun off the technical equipment division, which was the core HP business from its inception (analogous to alienating limited-government conservatives in the GOP.) Second, she accomplished a merger with Compaq at the insistence of Wall Street and over the objections of many shareholders and employees (analogous to embracing the big government RINO types.)
Neither strategy was very successful for HP. Under her leadership, HP stock went from $52/share to $21/share. Over the same period, its closest competitor, Dell, went from $37 to $40. And the companys stellar reputation for product quality has been in shambles ever since.
Infoworld magazine declared Carly as the anti-Steve Jobs for reversing the goodwill of American engineers and for alienating existing customers. Portfolio magazine listed Carly in their list of The 20 Worst American CEOs of All Time.
Why? Because he isn't a McCain operative? Because he didn't run a company into the ground?
IMHO, Mrs Palin had better start dispersing some cash to candiates she "endorses". Frankly, to me, based on the available information filed, SarahPAC looks like nothing more than a slush fund to funnel dough to her family and friends.
For the record, I am not a "Sarah hater." I am a Sarah skeptic. Or, wait..giggle...I am a "Saraheretic"
