We recall the "Black Creek" folks from our "Officer Neckvein" event last year ~ yup, actual African-American American Indian enrolled tribe members.
I think she means her story as more of a piece of instructive history than as a victimhood complaint.
At the same time I have to disagree with her about people who were fully African-American being taught to run, or not run with secret signals. My understanding from folks who grew up black in black neighborhoods is that they were taught to NEVER RUN ~ not ever ~ under any conditions. Could be why so many of them grew up sound, whole and educated, and able to work in the post office ~ without a single criminal blemish ~ not even an arrest!
On that basis alone (gleaned over the years working side by side with African-American people in the Army and the Postal Service) let me suggest that since she was a female her experience was different than she describes ~ and the reality was different than she believes.
Doesn't make it right, but history is history, and you don't need to embellish some things.

I lived in Yuma. The border patrol could stop anybody for no reason all and ask for “papers”. Along Interstate 8 there are check points, they will question you and if necessary search for car. Now if the State of AZ does it with just cause, It’s called Racism?
